Where should I start,..well we were seated and inquired about how large the pizza’s were and we came to the conclusion that the small table they sat us at was not going to hold two large pizzas, salad and a order of calamari as our waiter agreed, so we requested to be put at one the many open tables for more space or to even just put two smaller tables together in order to accommodate our order, apparently the management said NO but said to put the pizza’s onto a separate table next to us which we did but then this caused us have to get up every time just for a slice of pizza and walk to the table like it was a buffet with other people walking and being seated around our uncovered pizza which was made incorrectly and so they had to remake it. We ask for extra ranch for our salad because the ratio of ranch to salad is off compared to the size of the salad. Then we asked for more ranch for the pizza so by this time my party and I are technically at 3 extra ranch sides, I know nothing is free but to not tell us that each additional ranch is 2.99ea until we were already 3 deep and then slide in a comment of “oh each side of ranch is 2.99ea btw is kinda strange but okay, but then trying to charge us for the initial ranch that came with the salad was odd too. Then my wife put our leftover salad onto the same table as the pizzas and requested to the waitress not to throw the salad away . What happens? They threw our salad away smh, so the waitress has messed up a few times already, but now we are feeling some tension and attitude from her as if we did something wrong. I’m not sure what the deal is with this establishment, but I’ll never return here again. As we were paying the bill there was a few employees staring at us and once I signed the receipt the cashier handed it to our waiter to show her if we tipped her and she saw it and got mad and went toward the back an told others and now we are getting the old”mad dog stare from employees As we exit. It’s not my fault your service and team can’t get it together. What sucks is they actually have decent pizza, but they’ve ruined the experience

This was the worst meal I had ever had. It was my birthday dinner. Ordered takeout. First off our salad was so old. It was wilted and brown. The roast beef meat tasted funny and old in the Calazon. The Goodfella combo chicken parigiana was very greasy, the stuffed shells were old and hard with very little filling. The chicken Piccata was greasy and chicken was rubbery. I will never order from there again. Totally disgusting!!

Mario’s is a chain of Italian restaurants in the Albuquerque area with a lot of traditional dishes on the menu. The place is large with open patio seating during good weather. Hard to judge the service as the place was not busy, but the food was well presented, looked good, and tasted about as authentic as one can get in an Italian restaurant chain. Prices are high.

I am such a huge fan of Mario’s. I have never been to the Paseo Del Norte location until the other night. I walked in and there was no wait. I was seated right away. The place was kind of empty and the server took her sweet time to come take my order and then I had to wait 45 minutes for a basic pasta dish. She didn’t check on me once, offer a refill for water. I will never be back to this location because the service was horrendous.

Atmosphere was nice and the space is great for large parties, which we really appreciated. The pizza was good and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the pasta dishes were a big letdown. We ordered the marsala and picatta, and both tasted very bottled and not homemade at all. Because of that, the food experience was hit or miss. Nice place, but the pasta definitely needs improvement.

Stopped in for lunch thinking it was a pizza only joint. Turns out to be a whole Italian restaurant. Got 2 slices of pizza and tried their bruschetta. Both were good. The pizza slices were nice and big and 2 is plenty to fill ya up. Waitress was nice and courteous. Restaurant atmosphere was ok. I’m glad I came in during a lull. Only downside I would critique is I wish they cooked my pizza slices 5mins longer. The crust was soft and flimsy to where I had to use a knife & fork to eat the pizza. Once I took a slice home and re-warmed it in the oven and for a bit crispier crust, it was perfect! Toppings were fresh and plentiful.

The Lasagna was absolutely delicious! The staff was friendly and the place was clean. The manager Louie was awesome. He has outstanding customer service and a great attitude. He made us feel at home. We will bring our family back thanks to him and his team.

Drove a few extra miles to this location. Service at the San Pedro location has gone down hill. We enjoyed a Sicilian style supreme. Our waiter, Andrew, was great. This might become our new location.

I brought my family and a guest to Marios on New Years Eve. The food was embarrassingly bad. The lasagna wa ok but the pasta dishes were terrible. Almost nothing but the pasta with almost no taste. We have observed a general decline in food quality over the 6 years we have lived here and I will no longer spend money at Marios.
