Bought an eggplant parm grinder from Mario’s. I am gonna let you guys be the judge here. This is how my sandwich looked like when I opened. All I can say is, the grinder size is getting smaller day by day. Even gave a tip for a takeout. Initially I thought quarter of a sandwich was taken. I don’t know and I am not sure. I do not want to assume the worst. We are quite regulars there. Disappointed.

We love their pizza dinner deal, which is only $20 for two large. They also have a large menu offering wraps, grinders, salads, and several appetizers (my absolute favorite are their garlic knots). Super friendly staff that ensure your experience is great.

The owner is a good man that you could tell right away does not only care making good food, but is sincere and appreciative for your business with a particular but subtle intention to remember your face. The atmosphere is just like how I remember good pizza places when I was a kid. Everyone that works there cares about doing a good job. You could tell this within one minute of being there.

We decided to try Mario’s after seeing a Super Bowl package they offered. Incredibly disappointed. We called yesterday and ordered. Showed up today at the pickup time. It was 8 degrees outside and the line for pickup was down the sidewalk. Parking was awful between the snow and people picking up. I ended up parking more than a block away. I stood outside for 20 minutes…freezing. The pizza was hot when I got it to the party but the wings were cold and dry. The whole experience was awful and disorganized. I definitely won’t be back.

Used to be better , recently they have raised prices through the roof ! In my opinion you can’t charge as much as a New Haven pie maybe a couple bucks less , without delivering the same quality ! The owner is super nice respectable man , However they have a blonde cash register lady who is so rude left a sour taste in my mouth ! However this review was not impacted by her it was a combination of her and the prices and quality …. Yes this is a okay pizza spot but no it does not compete with fucco or Sally’s or Pepe’s ! I would say the place is EXTREMELY OVERPRICED AND EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT IT IS !

I decided to return and try out their Chicken Parmesian Sub and Chicken, Bacon, Ranch. Personally, I enjoyed the Chicken Bacon Ranch more. It was delicious. The Chicken Parmesian looks better than what it tastes; it doesn’t have too much flavor outside of the natural taste of chicken. If you’re a health nut, then it will be perfect for you.

Nice friendly family place. Best Pizza in Naugatuck. Lots vegetarian options. Best tasty pizza crust. Friendly atmosphere and service. We have been there numerous times. Every single time food is consistently good. We got Grandma’s pizza, it is best tasting garlic spinach pizza.

Just enjoyed a fantastic cheese pizza on the patio, it was excellent!! Mario’s pizzeria has a very good daily special that you can’t beat. We had a delicious fresh salad, too. The staff inside (two young guys) could not have been nicer. One of the gents came out to bring the pizza after it came out of the oven, offered plates and napkins. We’re definitely coming back next week for the special. We know a great pizza, and this is it!! Awesome value and delicious.
