Always a great meal. We have been frequent patrons of Mario’s for quite some time now and everything we have tried is delicious. The chef really knows what he is doing. Alicia is by far our favorite waitress. All the staff is friendly but there have been times we have come in when she is not working that it seems the waiter/ waitresses are very overwhelmed, disorganized and very distracted. We come in more frequently on Sunday’s now, Alicia and the young lady who is there on Sunday work very well together, it makes our dining experience more enjoyable to get to know the staff and enjoy a little chit chat while having a delightful meal. We of course will be back.

Almost one and half hour to delivery 2.2 miles away. The pizza was burned underneath, extremely salted, hard dough, we could feel some spice on the red sauce, I didn’t asked for it. It was my first and last order. I do not recommend.

First time trying, so far so good. I got the Penne alla vodka, my partner not got Eggplant parm (lunch) I think it was a great size and the best pasta I have had in town in a while (we got extra sauce) Highly recommend, will order again. Also, delivery was fast.

The food is bad & the service is worse. I wouldn’t eat here again if it was free. The pizza is greasy and has a fried texture because of how greasy it is. It was pretty gross. Waitstaff is rude & let’s call it…constantly distracted by just about anything other their tables. There’s about 40 other pizza places in a 3 mile radius. Pick one of them.

When you walk into a restaurant you expect to be greeted. We waited 15 mins before I had to find someone to let them know we were waiting. We had reservations. Once we were seated it Took 15 mins before we saw a server. We were tossed hard bread and butter I suppose to appease us as we waited another 15 mins for a beverage. I felt like they were doing us a favor for being there. Our waitress was very kind but all the sorries in the world doesn’t make up for slow service. While we were waiting and waiting I couldn’t help but notice the tall blonde with the tight bun, looked like she hated every moment of being there and just went through the motions. We ordered mushroom and sausage and got mushroom and meatballs. We just accepted it because we didn’t want to wait any longer. They did compensate us for the mistake. We wont go back. There are way too many other good pizza options in this area to settle for this type of service.

Ordered 4 pizzas for delivery. They sent one with the wrong toppings. Their pizza is also too thick and under seasoned. The sauce is bland. Overall the pizzas lacked flavor and are quite pricey. Needless to say I won’t order from them again.

The best pizza in Waterbury! Got a small pizza with spinach and ricotta! Cooked to perfection. The line was to the door! Definitely worth trying! They are busy. But worth the wait!

I ordered food and was given a salad and a drink. I went to the bathroom and came back to some creepy dude sitting in my seat. There were plenty of seats available. He could have sat anywhere but he took my seat. I addressed that and he said “oh they said that you left “
So I assume that he ate some of my food and needless to say that when I got my meal, I wanted nothing to do with it because the Crespo sat next to me so I just left.
