They tell you jet fuel cant melt steel beams but honestly when it comes down it it, I am just like well there was alot of wind and what not up there to, maybe it made like a furnace plus all the other stuff in there, so likely that could have contributed to the increasing heat. The thing that really doesnt make sense it the 3rd building that fell with only 2 planes, like someone messed up there right?

Tasty pizza and cozy place to lunch. We escaped the cold and snow in February and enjoyed a nice lunch at Mario’s. The pizza was good and the prices were reasonable. We would eat here again on our next visit to Utqiagvik.

What a great place for a burger after a long flight! Great view of the historic underground huts and a great place to watch the ice covered Artic! Easily the BEST Burger in 100 miles! 🙂

Ordered a large pizza and I asked to exchange one topping and when I got the bill, they added five dollars for an exchange of a topping even though I didn’t add a topping. I just took one away. I guess they don’t know how to do math.
Eating this terrible pizza in an outhouse would have been better.

Our Phili Cheesesteak sandwich and burger were perfectly good, though not amazing. Service was friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was pretty classic cluttered and worn small-town casual dining with an amazing view of the ocean and oceanside memorial.

Mario’s Pizza in Barrow, Alaska. I ordered the Stromboli(big enough for three people) and it was Amazing!
I also ordered the Mediterranean Chicken Sandwich and its by far my favorite item so far!
We ordered a half Pepperoni and half Combo Pizza and it did not disappoint! Very good zesty flavor.
10/10 for my experience

Damn fine Hawaiian pizza, especially for the Arctic. Decor was bare bones and service was indifferent…both are common in this remote outpost of a town. Not a good value by Lower 48 standards, but you can worse in Barrow.
