Social Profile:

Mario’s Pizza is a local, family-owned restaurant chain serving authentic NY-Style Pizza, Stromboli, calzone, Italian dishes, subs, salads, appetizers, and desserts. Brothers Vinny, Mario and Tony, are from and grew up in Brooklyn. They’ve always been in the food business. Thanks to their Italian origins they love and know a thing or two about making pizza! Speaking of pizza, if you haven’t tried the delightful NY-style, now is your chance. Crispy, yet chewy, it’s hand tossed and baked to perfection in our specialized ovens. We have Mario’s locations in Winston-Salem, Greensboro, Clemmons and High Point. Our sister store, Tony’s Pizza, is in the Charlotte and Hickory area.

Local pizzeria chain serving NY-style pies, plus pasta, subs & wings, in a casual setting.

I can’t beleive we waited over 40 minutes for a Stromboli and 2 slices of pizza with extra cheese.. the worst part is that they threw some new cheese on already over cooked slices then reheated them which are now burnt and look awful as if I wouldn’t notice ! Out of all the money I have spent here, My pizza has never looked like this from Mario’s before and the service has never been this bad so there must new staff or something wrong. I would’ve went back to get a refund but after waiting so long we were not about to go back out, it’s dark out too. Not to mention they acted like we were interrupting their hangout instead of working and couldn’t put any effort though they didn’t seem busy since they were chatting in Spanish and laughing the whole time. Do whatever you want but we are coming to spend our money and you can’t at least do the job right while you enjoy working with your friends during no rush !? As a person from up north, Mario’s was my goto because it’s the closest thing to decent pizza here in NC, not sure what has changed since my last visit maybe a month ago but I am so beyond disappointed, use to be my favorite place for pizza , I use to rave about this place, but biting into a burnt slice after waiting almost an hour I am so furious I’ll probably never eat pizza in NC again! So your employees were so neglegent that you lost a customer who I’m sure has spent over 1k there just this year alone!! There is no excuse for how these slices were given to us… Do better

I enjoy coming here for lunch and getting a slice.

My lovely mother joined me on this faithful day for a lunch break.

We elected to get slices, so we could get what we wanted on our own slices, and let me tell you, these are truly massive slices of pizza. I would have used one beside my face for reference, but did not want to lose my toppings! Haha!

My mom got salami on her slice, and I got sausage and pepperoni. She claimed that her pizza was delicious, and mine was as well.

We also ordered toasted Ravioli because my mother had never had them before, so we opted to try them. I have had them before, but never from here, and I was really impressed. They had a tremendous amount of cheese and crunch, and paired with the tangy marinara, they were excellent.

I recommend coming here for a cheap and quick lunch during the week, they were busy, but my order was taken quickly, and my food came out fast, despite this being lunch and the restaurant being very busy!

Mario’s Pizza at the Palladium Shopping Center is a regular spot for us. Their pizza is consistently good, but the real stars are the appetizers – especially the fried mushrooms and fried ravioli. They’re some of the best we’ve had in the area!

The service is similar to fast food: order at the counter and wait for your number to be called. It’s convenient and efficient. Seating is plentiful, although the tables can be a bit sticky sometimes (hopefully a minor cleaning issue). The restrooms are clean, and parking is ample in the shopping center lot.

Overall, Mario’s Pizza is a reliable choice for a casual pizza night. Their delicious appetizers and convenient service make it a great spot for a quick and satisfying meal.

Serve quickly a great Pie!!! Good quality, great pricing 2 adults 2 kids $45 – including 2 beers, appetizer, and could have easily spent less. Fastfood would have been more. Great convenient place to dine in palladium with out the ridic crowds at many of the other places nearby. See ya again soon.

Wow!!! How things have changed. For the past few years this particular location has been our go to when it comes to Mario Pizza. I always call in and order for pickup. I order 12 bone in wings tossed in Buffalo sauce and a kid’s ziti with two meatballs.

A few minutes ago I just had the worst customer service experience I’ve had in recent memory. Super Bowl Sunday is always hectic for all restaurants because of increased business. With this in mind I called at about 3:30pm to get an understanding of the turnaround time for call in orders.

During this time it was explained to me that Kid’s portions of Spaghetti and meatballs could not be called in for pickup which I thought was weird because just three weeks prior I had placed the same order. This led me to believe that all I had to do was come in and place the order to go and be good.

I ordered my usual to go and the lady at the register named “Michelle” calmly explained to me that Kid’s menu items were now “dine in only”. I then calmly asked curiously “how long has it been like this”…. Michelle flew of the handle on me. It was otherworldly how fast her kindness turned to indignation (UNPROVOKED!!!). “It’s not up to me!”, “I don’t make the rules!”, “Oh, so now you want the regular sized spaghetti!” …… completely condescending and disrespectful.

I then paid for the food and asked to speak to the manager(OF COURSE!!). He then explained that the rule took effect a couple weeks ago and apologized for the confusion but the damage had already been done.

After years of being a loyal customer, my patronage of all Mario Pizza locations will be coming to an end. I had a previous unsatisfactory experience at The Wendover location and since I had swore by this location til today. There is no way in good conscience that I can do business or recommend anyone do business at a place that would allow employees to speak to customers that way without any kind of reprimand. I would STARVE TO DEATH before I ate from this place again. You literally couldn’t give me the food from this place to eat. Smh..

UPDATE : They made my daughter’s ziti wrong. They put cheese all over it. My baby only likes marinara over ziti. Didn’t ask for cheese. The sauce was different too. The rest of this regular size going in the trash. The wings were DELICIOUS tho. Fitting for a last meal there.

This is definitely one of the places I feel truly try to bring New York style pizza to the area, not only getting the sizes of slices right but the taste as well. Arrive hungry!!

I ordered a 15” pepperoni pizza and 12-piece garlic knots to be delivered to my hotel room. When the pizza arrived, it was cold. Not even slightly warm. It was the temperature of pizza that had been sitting out awhile. The garlic knots were warmer but they were also burned. Half of each knot was inedible and had to be thrown away.

Been coming to the Mario’s pizza in high point for a while now and the food has always been good including the service until they heard a women name Ava. Ava’s service is honestly horrible. Every time she works and I’ve come in she has always messed up my order. She orders you what she wants and I truly believe she doesn’t know how to use the computer system they have. It takes her forever to find Canadian bacon and half the time she just puts regular bacon and lies to your face saying “ I know it says bacon but it’s Canadian bacon” and guess what? Ding ding your right it’s just regular bacon. Now hind sight it’s really not that a big of a deal I get but she does this every single time to the point when I see her working I just walk out cause I know she’s going to get the order wrong.

Zero stars tonight if it were possible. Eat here for lunch Mon-Fri all the time and my pizza is PERFECT….never coming again on a Sunday evening. This is ridiculous tonight, it absolutely has to be a different staff, because one guy I notice during the week wasn’t there and my pizza was made with the absolute lowest quality. I drive PAST the Wendover Mario’s because of this very reason and come an additional 10-15 minutes to this location….DID NOT EXPECT THIS, and WILL not be coming on the weekend anymore. Guess I have to stick to the normal lunch visits.

PIZZA isn’t even CUT for freaks sake. Dough is significantly thicker, cheese running off the side of the crust like its stuffed crust or something, 2 slices with 1/2 of the pizza with no toppings when it’s a 3 topping pizza. Pizza was just made extremely sloppy. I don’t even want to eat this because I’ve grown to expect quality when visiting this Mario’s….but apparently that doesn’t get extended into the weekend during evenings, such as tonight.

And yes, that’s a 10 inch pizza not a Stromboli, they just didn’t bother to cut it.
