Absolutely try this place. The vibe is exactly what I would hope to experience when enjoying an early morning espresso with my breakfast. Life is too short to miss out on good food and let me tell you… this food is it. Try the eggs beni. I did and it did not disappoint.

Came as a party of 5 and we did not wait too long on a Sunday afternoon. We were seated outside and my only problem was a few pestering flies. Otherwise I really enjoyed the food. I thought the protein pancake tasted just like the regular pancakes. The omelet was a bit over for me but the pork chile verde had good flavor and decent spice. I’d hope they would have taken the bay leaves out rather than crush them but it was ok to eat around. The French toast was probably the best dish we had.

Mario’s Early Toast is a gem! The country fried steak is absolutely delicious—possibly the best I’ve had. The biscuits and gravy are also fantastic, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again.
One suggestion: please consider changing your coffee options and crab cakes —they don’t quite match the quality of the food.

My wife mentioned it as an option for breakfast, and since the menu options were really enticing we went. The orange juice was really good. But unfortunately when I asked if they had real maple syrup they said no. Epic fail. I’m not spending this much on waffles, pancakes, or French toast to ruin it with cheap corn syrup. I honestly don’t think I’m asking too much to have it as a menu item. So instead I decided to go with the pacific omelet with house potatoes and sour dough toast. Even though I settled the omelet it was pretty good. Also I’m from an era where the tip was based on sub total not total and their machine was configured for total.

Came for Mother’s Day brunch. Glad we had reservations, was able to get seated immediately. Service was quick, and good was delicious. The fish bowl sized Mimosa was fun way to share for two people.

We had such a great experience here people we had a party of five. We receded comfortably. It was full, the patients were speaking and we could still hear each other without yelling. The food was delicious. We all tasted each other’s dishes and we’re already planning our next 10 visits, lol.

This was our first time at this location, we were seated as soon as we walked in, the servers were very friendly and the food was delicious. I personally don’t care for the bacon in the California Breakfast Burrito, and wished the avocado was layered evenly throughout the burrito, but over all it tasted great. Waffles were fluffy and not soggy in the middle, the egg over easy was a little over done, but it was still tasty, the overall experience of the restaurant was pleasant and clean.

We just moved to Folsom a year ago and this quickly become our weekend breakfast stop. The menu is huge with many delicious options. The the smoked salmon avocado toast, Sierra omelette (which is stacked with authentic Chile Verde) and many more items for kids and everybody.
The staff is always polite and super friendly and the owner as well.

I absolutely love Mario’s Early Toast at the Sierra Gardens location in Roseville, it’s always been one of my favorite breakfast spots. Unfortunately, my visit to the Folsom location was a disappointment. We were bothered by several flies inside the dining area, which made it hard to relax. The service was ok, and the food didn’t meet the usual standard I’ve come to expect.
I ordered my usual “Perfect Combo,” but the French toast was overly sugary and dry, almost gritty in texture. The potatoes were very greasy, and the bacon was tough and stale-tasting, more like beef jerky. I really wanted to enjoy it as much as I do in Roseville, but the overall experience just wasn’t the same. Hoping this location can improve, because I truly enjoy what Mario’s usually offers!

I give Mario’s Early Toast 5 stars! The service, food, and atmosphere were all excellent. We went for breakfast today, and I had the Perfect Combo with a caramel macchiato – both were fantastic! The menu offers a wide variety of enticing entrees, making it hard to choose just one. Our server was wonderful, and overall, we had a great experience. Highly recommend!
