We purchased a fundraiser booklet from the high school that included a BOGO coupon to “Early Toast”, so we thought we would go back since we haven’t been in a while. We told the waitress when we ordered and she took the coupon with her. Shortly after they came back to the table and said they had never published any coupons. She has called her boss and they figure it was likely for the EDH Early Toast which is apparently different than the “Mario’s Early Toast” in Folsom, even though the logos on the outside of the restaurant are identical. She says they weren’t hitting it and she if we still wanted to place an order. Essentially they were willing to let us walk out rather than honor a coupon that would likely have cost then only a couple bucks to honor. We started and paid full price, but the food was merely mediocre at best. Not impressed. The coupon brought us in, but the customer service and food made it clear we don’t need to go back. The are too many places around here that want to EARN your business!

We compared this to the Early Toast in EDH today. The food quality is superior and though packed they turn tables pretty quickly, even at a peak time. A bit discounted food delivery and service this visit, but may be a one off day for this server. Very wide and diverse menu of food after 11 am is a big bonus for the shutter church crowd. Would come back if not in a hurry.

Excellent food, but bad service. I’ve always been pleased with the food at Early Toast. But the service is almost always poor. Slow to take an order, incorrect orders, infrequent drink refills. We haven’t been back nearly as often recently. But we’ll keep giving it periodic chances, hoping that the service will eventually improve to match the food.

I live across the street and would have loved to have found my new breakfast spot. I’ve called in 2 orders and gone in person once. All 3 times my eggs were cold. Not to mention my service today was awful. Sorry, 3 strikes you’re out.

I had been to Early Toast before and the food was good. This time we went about 1:50 pm to get sandwiches. They were already starting to close. I do understand this because years ago when I waitressed we always prepped for closing an hour before. This establishment closes at 3pm. I ordered the American club. It is supposed to have ham, turkey, bacon, jack cheese, and a dijon sauce. It came out with american processed cheese, and no bacon. It tasted so bad. I ate one wedge. I notified the waitress. The manager that was there would only discount my meal by 50%. I did not want a replacement because they seemed bothered by having to remedy the error.

Do not patronize this restaurant!! The owners, Mario and Louis are flakey business people. They hired my company to do service work for them at the location in Folsom. They signed the work orders and were very thankful for the service. Now, they refuse to pay for no good reason and we have had to turn them over to our lawyers for collection and court action. My opinion is that they are struggling to keep the doors open on all their locations and are attempting to weasel out of paying this bill.

Just had the worst dining experience ever. waited 50 minutes for food, people that were seated 30 minutes after me received their food first. Owner was arrogant, stated it was AT&T’s fault for shutting down the network – did not offer any accommodation, basically said tough luck.

When this location first opened, it was awesome. They had really good food, and the service was good. Now both are not so great. The last time I went, which by the way will be the last time I go to this location, was horrible.

Got my order in at 8am. There was no one here and no to go orders ahead of mine. 5 people have gotten their orders before mine. What I ordered: pancakes, eggs Sunnyside up, sausage, hashbrowns. Am I underestimating how long that should take? It’s 8:52am and I’m still waiting g
