We are from utah and stopped here to eat on our way home from crater lake. We just happened upon this place. We loved it. Great atmosphere, good prices and a lot of food. We all got a huge home made roll, even the kids got one with their kids meals. The mushroom cream soup was amazing. It was loaded with mushrooms. Great service. Spot on.

the baked bread was fantastic, but the steak tasted like it was cooked on a dirty grill. also they advertise prime rib nightly but was told no prime rib when we were there. it was early so they hadn’t just run out. All in all not bad but probably won’t go back

Have eaten here a number of times and the food is always excellent. The salmon is amazing, especially considering the location. Beef entrees are excellent as well. Love the baked potatoes. Crisp, fresh dinner salads with fresh bread. Can’t wait to return!

Extremely amazing food in my opinion really really great. The ONLY good restaurant to be mentioned in little beautiful Lakeview Oregon.
BUT the worst experience I’ve had in my life was this waitress… 30 minutes between service, cold rude woman, expressed agitation to me when I needed explanation about bill (BY THE WAY THEY SNEAKILY ADD 10% TO YOUR BILL ON EVERYTHING EXCEPT DRINKS DUE TO “MINIMUM WAGE CHANGE”) and then tried to wait me out and not get my change back….. insanity lol was trying to wait out a 25% tip for herself off of a bill that was already way more expensive than anticipated. Dark hair, strong accent, rude demeanor, avoid this waitress…
The food though and the other staff? Amazing! I do recommend… but this place needs to weed out the terrible employees big time. Was easily the WORST service I’ve ever experienced and I am NOT a picky guy lol nor do I ever leave reviews… do your jobs people.

Mario’s is a excellent place to eat, especially for this little town! I read the bad reviews and I don’t think they ate at the same place as I did one comment said they ate in the lobby, huh? There is no lobby. Great food, good people, we’re blessed to have them in Lakeview.!

The food is delicious and I’m shocked he’s in Lakeview.
He makes the most amazing pineapple, lemon, orange glaze, that’s spread over broccoli. It’s so good I put it on my potato and even my filet, absolutely amazing.
They’re deserts are fabulous (I’ve tried them all, da).
The ladies remember my beverage of choice and it’s on the table almost before I sit down.
I’ve only been in and out of this town for a few months and am leaving next week but will miss this place and the attentive staff.

A friend who used to live in Lakeview recommended we try one of Mario’s steaks. We were not disappointed – in fact it may just be the best steak I’ve ever had. The filet was tender, juicy and very reasonably priced. My only regret was I didn’t try Mario’s special sauce. Will do next time!

Got here right at 5pm when they opened. Ordered the prime rib and was not disappointed! I ate in the lounge and the server was very pleasant and attentive. Will definitely be stopping here again when traveling through!
