Tonight was something special. My son, who lives in California now, got to share his favorite childhood pizza …the one he grew up on, the Dayton classic, Marion’s ….with his own babies, for the very first time.
The moment we walked in, he smiled and said it looked exactly the same as when he was a kid. Same lights, same booths, same squares of pizza that taste like pure childhood
Watching him sit there with his kids, introducing them to the place he loved growing up… it was nostalgic and sweet and full of those full-circle feelings you can’t quite put into words.
Some traditions taste like home
Some memories never change.
And tonight, my son got to pass one of his favorites on to the next generation. ❤️ Marion’s SUPER CHEESE is FOREVER the GOAT!
✨ Marion’s forever …Dayton memories made new again. ✨

Used to be an amazing lil pizza place that was just different and now they’re an overpriced freezer pizza joint. The food has no flavor now. So they drown the pizzas in sauce in hopes of you not being able to taste the difference. They’re getting $20 for a 12” thin-crust pizza with 2 hardly toppings in Dec, 2025 (gotta be sure to date & document everything these days) cause they’ll deny it when they raise the price 3 more dollars in march. Today is my last time eating here and I have a feeling many others will feel the same

I was in town for work. I was told to try their pizza baked in the old oven. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza to go.
The service was friendly and quick.
The pizza was hot and cut into squares. The pizza tasted average with a thin crispy crust. The sauce was slightly tangy.
It reminded me of pizza after little league baseball or pizza the swimming pool served.

I ordered a large pizza for take out. We live about 10 minutes away. I left promptly after I ordered to pick up the pizza. After arriving home and tasting the pizza, we found it cold, under cooked. We ordered crispy and it was not crispy at all. This was the worst experience we have had with Marions.

I LOVE this place. My mom has been coming here since she was a kid. Every time I’m in town now we always make sure to get it to take home w us. They have a patent on their pizza so you knowww it’s good. The staff is always super sweet and the place is always clean. The way it looks is beautiful too! Super cold school.

Marion’s has that nostalgic feeling and they make it like no other around. Generous with toppings and always the friendliest workers. Secret, ask them to make it in the old oven. Chef’s kiss! Love this place!

This particular Marion’s Pizza was better than others near it. It was Monday and was quite busy, looked like Sunday or Weekend, maybe local flavor add of 25 % discount , I don’t have. But Cheese Pizza , Sausage-Mashroom-with extra Cheese. Both were perfect Pizzas

We ordered as deluxe pizza, no onions. The pizza was ready on time. However, after a 15 minute ride home the pizza was not edible as it was extremely greasy. We called and they prepared a replacement pizza. Upon seeing the first pizza they said it was unacceptable and the one the prepared would be much better. It was a “Rush” pizza and again, after a 15 minute ride home the pizza was not any better and we had to just throw it away. They blamed the sausage, the pepperoni, the cheese…. we have ordered this many times before at the Beavercreek and this location and had not had an issue with this much grease. Perhaps their ingredients are not good anymore, or the cooking times have changed. This was are number one pizza place. It will be quite a while before returning. Look at the photos, the grease permeated the box, and can be seen all around the pizza pieces – on both pizzas.

I am a hard critic of pizza and will not provide a perfect score to many places. There are a lot of pizza places I would never ever return to or recommend. THE PIZZA IS GREAT….unbelievable taste, which is very unique and satisfying. I absolutely was impressed that it’s better than the scratch kitchen pizza—I would absolutely say it’s the best place in DAYTON OHIO.
Definitely a place I want to enjoy often and will recommend to all my friends family and followers—get here because you will Thank me for sharing this place…..trust me!
