I really value supporting local businesses and was so excited to order a gluten-free chicken garlic pizza since my husband has celiac and safe options are rare for us. Unfortunately, when I opened the box, I was so disappointed and broken hearted. For $25, the pizza was only 10 inches and looked more like a frozen pizza than something freshly made.
I understand gluten-free often costs more, and we don’t mind paying extra for quality, but this felt like no effort went into presentation or value. We did our best to enjoy it at home and spruced it up, but honestly, I expected much more for the price.
I’m not one to complain even less talk negatively but I had to share…

Hands down the best pizza I’ve had in a very long time! The crust has a natural flavor with the perfect balance of fluffy texture and chewy body. The cheese is the perfect balance of gooey texture and buttery flavor without being oily without being chewy. You also have to try the licorice ice cream! The building and dining area are absolutely small town perfection! And the young woman that helped us was one of the friendliest people I’ve ever seen. This is going to be my regular stop whenever I’m in the area. So glad I stopped in.

It’s a quaint small town establishment. Service is friendly, but not necessarily fast. Food is mediocre, but not as bad as we’ve been told by several locals. It is cooked right, and simple. The salad was made with shredded burger lettuce and basic pizza toppings, but fresh and not bad. The pizza toppings were placed well and the pizza master is a genius at a half and half pizza! Overall, it’s nothing gourmet, but they offer a surprising selection of sandwiches, burgers, and more than assumed based on the ‘Italian restaurant’ suggestion. I certainly would not call this an Italian restaurant.

My wife and I were driving through Vernonia and pizza sounded good. We are very glad we stopped in. Pizza was great! Also, try a milkshake! I had a Cherry milkshake and it was great too! Highly recommend.

The food was pretty good and it was also pretty affordable. But it took nearly an hour for 3 pizzas to come. There was only one waiter but she was very friendly and checked up on our party multiple times. Overall a 3.5/5 experience

We went here twice in 2 days while camping in Camp Wilkerson. The first evening was near closing. We went in @745p and asked if they were still serving pizza. They were very friendly and said, of course.
They made us a small BBQ pizza, a Jr. Burger and fries. Everything was great. It was “bar food” as I’d call it. Tasty, but not gourmet. But that’s not what you’re looking for when pizza and burgers are on the menu. It’s good food for very in expensive. In fact, that first evening only cost around $15! Made all three of us full.
We promised the little guy ice cream the next day, so we came back before we left town. We got another burger, a chicken salad and some ice cream as well as root beer floats. Again, not gourmet, but very good for the price.
When you’re around, give the place a try. Just don’t go in thinking it’s some restaurant that will be in Portland Monthly. Enjoy it for what it is. Better than fast food.

I never actually got the opportunity to eat here. We arrived in this small town pizza joint with little to no expectations. When we walked in we were instructed to sit anywhere and told they’d be with us shortly. We sat and waited for 16 minutes before the waitress brought us our menu. The menu looked great and had good variety and the price seemed fair. Unfortunately I was not able to find out. While waiting for our order to be taken, my daughter noticed a plethora of ants in the salt shaker. After inspecting other tables this appeared to be the case in all of the salt shakers. They were 100%, undeniably ants. We continued to wait for our order to be taken and noticed a thick layer of dust on top of all the wall hangings and cameras. We were still willing to give this place a shot but after waiting for 27 minutes for the waitress to take our order( there were only two other tables with customers) we decided to take our business elsewhere. Very disappointed, as we were looking forward to a great meal. Cannot recommend

Absolutely a hidden gem. The atmosphere was perfect and the staff left us wanting for Absolutely nothing. The food was nothing short amazing as well as quickly prepared. We came with a large party of eight people and we all got our food at once which ment the perfect execution of service. Then the cherry on top of this Dining experience was the owner him self was Gracious enough to make us feel like part of his family. I would highly recommend you give this restaurant a try you will be back and you will get a proper dining experience.

Every thing was pretty good. Took a long time for our biscuits and gravy to arrive. Had to adk for a glass of water several times. The last bite I took didn’t finish the plate because there was some kind of bad taste, like soap or something. So I just paid and left.
