Laid-back Hawaiian-Korean restaurant doling out tacos, sliders & kimchi rice bowls.

I wanted to love this because my partner does and he brought me here on a date but my entree was very bland with little seasoning and his was so salty it was hard to swallow. He’s happy with the meal, and eats here often but I won’t be dining here unless I go with him. Bonus though, they have a couple cocktails and a happy hour.

Five stars just for having a website with a menu with photos, descriptions, and prices. I went in and knew exactly what I wanted to order. I got a 2 slider combo ($13 as of October, 2025) with kālua pork and pocket tots. The sliders were delicious, the kālua pork was tender and the signature slaw was fresh and flavorful.

I recently ate here and would describe the experience as solidly average. Nothing blew me away, but nothing disappointed me enough to complain either.
The food itself is mediocre. The dishes are competently made and edible, but nothing stands out as particularly flavorful, creative, or memorable. It is the kind of meal where you eat it, you are satisfied in the moment, and then you immediately forget what you had.
On the positive side, the wait time was reasonable. No unreasonable delay, even during a moderately busy period. Service was friendly enough and efficient.
Price wise, this place is a win. Everything felt very affordable for what you get, especially compared to similar spots in the area.
If you are looking for something quick, inexpensive, and low risk, this place does the job just fine. If you are hoping for a memorable meal or something worth raving about, you will probably want to look elsewhere.

If the sandwich wasn’t falling apart. This Korean cheesesteak would be the greatest cheesesteak I ever had in my life. Sweet, spicy, with those char burnt bits endrobed in cheese. All they need to do is wrap it in parchment
This spicy pork torta is good too.

My friend and I just grabbed a quick bite to eat before a concert at Climate Pledge at the Seattle Center. It was much tastier than other options at the Armory at the Center. Flavors were fantastic and service was great. I ordered the cheesesteak which was loaded with flavor and a lot of cheese (but not too much)! My friend enjoyed the Kalua pork plate, particularly the Mac salad (for its flavor and quantity!). I can’t wait to go again and try out what else they have to offer.

This is a pretty small, mostly takeout place that seems to serve Hawaiian/Asian food
I picked up the Pork Katsu sandwich here – but I can’t say I liked it much
The pork was just really dry – it had no juice whatsoever. in fact, the entire burger just felt super dry,
from the buns, to the (lack of) sauce, to the inside of the meat. There was not enough mayo or sauce on here
The breading was fine – it was pretty lightly done with the crumbs, and some spices were added, but nothing too special.
The one good part was that the slaw tasted pretty good
For the price, this is pretty expensive for a sandwich that doesn’t offer too much
Overall, I think this place has other good stuff on the menu (aloha tots look interesting), but this is not one of them. 6/10

Great food! For fast food, the quality is amazing. The kimchi fried rice is a standout!

Josh McNair (Through My Lens travel YouTube Channel) raved about how much he enjoys Marination, which is why we went. We ended up paying $40 (with tip) for 4 tacos and an order of Kimchi Fried Rice. Our meal was good, but portion sizes were even smaller than expected and we left still hungry. The tacos were small, and it probably would have taken another 2 to 3 to fill me up.

I ordered some take out from here for lunch. I ordered a taco each, kalbi beef n spicy pork. They were aight, too dry and could use some sauce. I also ordered some kalbi fried rice, which was very tasty. The kimchi to rice ratio was perfect with right amount of kalbi.
Will come back here again but will order something else. Heard their katsu burger n luau plates are good. The place has a nice menu and definitely some good vibes.
With takeout, there always a risk that the place can screw your order while rushing thru peak hour orders.

Stumbled by this place by accident but it was so good! I’m not a huge fan of Hawaiian but this was for sure an exception. PLEASE get the tots!! They’re amazing, so filling, and left me more than satisfied as I couldn’t finish a whole order. The malasados were very good but we preferred the one without filling because the orange cream didn’t quite fit with the flavor. The value for this place is actually great especially because of the area and comparable places!
