We came by for lunch on a rainy Saturday afternoon. We were thankful to have a 2pm reservation because when we arrived every table was filled. The atmosphere was joyful, everyone deep in conversation and enjoying their meals. Hosts and servers eagerly bouncing between tables. We sampled several menu items including the wonderful beer flight and the delicious Brussels sprout appetizer. Our main courses were devoured the moment they hit the table: butternut squash pasta with pancetta, salmon and mushroom plates, and a crispy chicken sandwich. A perfect lunch location on rainy day, thank you for making our visit a memorable one.

I now know why this restaurant is the most top rated restaurant in Ramona. When I eat out at restaurants I always look for highly rated ones and this one did not disappoint. Thank you for the homemade steak sauce because they don’t carry any. I highly recommend you change that even though it was mentioned that they cook their steaks to perfection.

Went around 7:40pm on a Thursday. Not too busy and plenty of street parking. The blue lady ice tea smelled and tasted great! Had the brussel sprouts for an appetizer and they were absolutely crispy, crunchy sweet and savory. I had the Waldorf salad and that too was crispy crunchy sweet and savory as well the atmosphere was great Even though the table was a little wobbly the entire decor and interior design was really nice to be in. I’m definitely looking forward to going again

Delicious food and amazing service by Paul. My team had hummus, brussel sprouts, fish and chips, and portebella burger. Everything was tasty.

A definite YES to stop at. Every dish I have tried so far is fabulous! They have amazing fried chicken. My husband and I first ordered take out, the Buffalo chicken sandwhich and the honey mustard chicken sandwhich. We have dined in several time since. Their Southern Belle salad mix of fried chicken, candied walnuts, and peaches was perfect! More recently their Autumn salad was sweet and tangy, of course I opted to add fried chicken! Ending the meal with their Butterscotch bourbon pudding is a MUST! It’s tasty and not overly sweet. It’s topped with peanut brittle if you desire more sweetness. They have a solid list of drinks on tap and filled with local libations. Their homey and slightly industrial atmosphere gives the restaurant a farm to table feeling. Or they have a cute lit patio that feels like a summer picnic.

Stopped by on our way back to San Diego from Borrego Springs hoping for a nice lunch. This place exceeded our expectations. Excellent food and service. Fresh and delicious, clean and cute environment and the friendliest, most polite staff.

Great service and great food. Ran into this place and was overwhelmed by the quality of the ingredients. They source a lot of their stuff locally. I started out with the bacon bloody Mary and my wife tried the flight of beers. I got the Ham Benny, my wife got a Waldorf salad and my kids got the French toast. A friend got the pulled pork skillet which included pulled pork on a bed of potatoes and eggs. Another friend got avocado toast that she said was incredible. The ham benny was served on a huge homemade biscuit with kale, fresh cut ham, poached eggs and hollandaise with a side of potatoes. The biscuit was great, I was skeptical about the kale but it was delicious. Loved the ham and the potatoes were cooked to perfection. I would definitely order it again. The French toast required no syrup, a true testament to a quality product. If pancakes or French toast are not good my kids will drown it with syrup, this required none. My friend mentioned the fact that the French toast was served in a bowl, we thought this was strange but we also noticed that the French toast stayed warm the entire meal, we wonder if this is the proper way to serve French toast. Waldorf salad was delicious, the chicken that came on it was hand battered. Service was excellent and everybody in the restaurant seemed very friendly. Not a huge place, so it felt very homely. We will definitely go here again.

We had dinner at Marinade last year and loved it so I was excited to return with my friends for lunch. Unfortunately, it was not a good experience this time around.

Great food and a nice beer selection. The only drawback is that the whole place can get very noisy when it is crowded.
