Dined here for lunch (party of four) and all of us enjoyed our food and our overall experience immensely. Food was excellent, service was great, atmosphere fun. The view was incredible. We got the crab cakes eggs Benedict, the coconut shrimp, the club sandwich and the fried chicken sandwich. Everyone reported that their meal was delicious. There’s a parking lot and they will validate your ticket inside. Clean bathrooms too.

The whole area was flooding, but managed to find a tasty, warn meal, dry at a bar with super friendly people. Excellent bartender who made you feel welcome and part of the cool-kids. Thank you so much!! I needed some friendly faces after a long, slow voyage from FL on the Intracoastal Waterway.

Really great food. Fresh and served really fast. The only slight negatives- sticky color is never attractive. You get over it fast but it’s off-putting when you enter. Also the smell when you enter. Sure it’s a seafood place but could smell a little more cleaner.
Service was good but no refills offered. She was busy though, so just an over sight.

Fantastic food served cheerfully in an unpretentious atmosphere.

We’ve been to Charleston twice now, eaten up and down King Street and the French Quarter, and both times our best meal at any price has been here, hands down.

This time I had the Bear Island Shrimp and Grits and the wife had Blackened Haddock Southwest Salad Bowl. Phenomenal food. The shrimp and grits had a hardy peasant gravy with a hint of wine and bold smoked sausage that produced an invigorating symphony of flavors. The blackened haddock had an exquisite symphony of flavors with subtler flavors than the shrimp and grits that played off the sauce perfectly. This is the second time we’ve had blackened fish here and both times it’s been exceptional. It is now officially our favorite restaurant in Charleston.

One more tip: the parking valets in Charleston know the best places to eat. We learned about this place from a valet at the Francis Marion, God bless him. And on this trip we got a pizza place from the valet at King 583. In both cases the other hotel staff had never heard of either place. Go to the valet, and always tip in cash.

Waterside restaurant with views of the marina and sunsets. Good menu and bar. Recommend the alligator!
Inside seating and also an outside patio area downstairs.

We walked here from the Hilton Garden Inn and had a fantastic dinner. The place has an old diner vibe. Lots of delicious seafood. We had the seafood platter blackened, everything was fantastic. Great service and the prices didn’t break the bank. It was dark once we were inside so there was no water view, but when light out I bet it’s gorgeous.

If you want a break from your typical downtown food into the land of comfort and affordability this is the place for you. Our server was 100% top notch and the food was good. We were glad we stopped in and within the city limits this is one of the few places with an actual water view if that’s what you are looking for.

What an amazing experience! Quaint, unpretentious, reasonably priced seafood restaurant on the waterfront with beautiful views and spectacular service! The grilled Flounder was perfectly cooked, the Colard Greens delicious, and the Bread Pudding with Rum Sauce is almost more memorable than the views!

This beloved iconic restaurant where everyone went for breakfast or lunch with a view is now a shadow of its former glory. Prices have tripled, the menu has been cut by at least a half and the removal of the booths destroyed the ambiance. Very sad for the loss of this wonderful place. Some of the original staff is still there, hence service rating.
