Marina Merchantile is such a gem! We visited Marina Merchantile for the first time this weekend for afternoon tea, and we had a wonderful time. It was incredibly easy to make an online reservation for our tea time.
When we arrived, we were welcomed with a tray of tea leaves in jars to smell and browse through along with the tea menu of a variety of green tea, black tea and tisane. We were able to pick a tea each and they even allowed us to try other flavors throughout our reservation! Tea is served with brown sugar cubes and cream.
They were also super kind enough to allow us to bring a paint by number kit to do as we enjoy our treats and tea! They do have themed events and sell watercolor paint kits as well!
The service was top notch, everyone was super friendly and checked in on us to make sure we were doing well and to just chat. I really appreciate the feeling of community here. Super welcoming!
The food we received was also more than enough for us to enjoy as we painted! There was a savory tier of egg croissants, egg bites, and cucumber cream cheese sandwich bites, then there was a tier of classic tea time scones, and lastly, a sweet tier of macaroons, blueberry muffins, and these delicious waffle bites! They also serve more food you can order separately.
Such a perfect space for a girls day! I will definitely be back!

I hosted an engagement party here and Brenda/Richard were very easy and pleasant to work with – they had great recommendations and made everything a breeze when it came to the actual party. The spread was amazing (charcuterie board, flatbreads, sandwiches) and they even made us our favorite cake, a London Fog, to share with everyone at the party. Lovely venue and staff were so kind. We were celebrating my friends birthday and the bartender Katie was amazing so fun and friendly! Took a picture for us and drinks were delicious! The food was also AMAZING we loved the steak sandwich, meat was super tender and the salad dressing was to die for! Will definitely be coming back! Great spot!

Wanted to do a flight and that was easy to order and the server was very knowledgeable. I did order an appetizer and two of three things didn’t show up as they were “out of them”. When I asked, another server replied, “yeah, that’s all we have” yet was charged full price. I purchased a recommended bottle of wine and it was a tad oxidized but drinkable and my guests were ok with it. Not worth the $22 I paid but had already served it and didn’t feel it was appropriate to return. Very cute place. Will try again and update my review if appropriate.

This was an absolute amazing experience. We came for lunch and got the smoked salmon tray, the dates wrapped in bacon and the olive oil and nuts. All so fresh. I had an awesome mocha. 5 star recommend thanks Brennan who works at the front for being so nice and efficient!

The place is a gem. Reasonably priced wine selection at wine store prices with no corkage fee if you order food >$30. Food was very good quality as I understand wife cooks. She is good. Will return for certain!

I came here to this shop because I heard they carry everyday products that other stores don’t have. I was looking specifically for a type of seasoning that is hard to find in stores. The store locater said this location had it.
They did! However, I found the layout of the place to be a bit strange. I had to walk by several occupied tables to get to the back of the store where the seasoning was, and it was awkward walking by and people staring. I think they should keep everything they sell in one place so people don’t have to do this. Plus, the seasoning was in a strange spot and I almost missed it.
Outside of that, the atmosphere was cozy and I appreciated them having a “seat yourself” option. Though I didn’t come for the food, I’ll be back to try it soon!

I’ve had two very different experiences here. We came for tea and had a great time. We booked a brunch reservation while we were there. Brunch was a disaster. Plates coming out one at a time ten or more minutes apart. Fifteen dollars for a single pancake that was burnt. I want to love this place, but it’s unlikely I will be back.

Beautiful store! My sis and I enjoyed a special tea service, complete with lovely tea sniffing samples, real teacups + saucers, white tablecloth, led candle and fun artwork on the walls. The best part: a tiered sampler platter of delicate tea cakes, finger sandwiches, and home made scones w clotted cream and local jam! We especially enjoyed the bunny-shaped dubai-like chocolate with dark chocolate and pistachio! Thank you Brenda for a wonderful afternoon tea!
