First time eating here and they did not disappoint. I ordered food to go. The service was very friendly. I ordered the Gyro plate with salad and fries. The gyro meat was amazing. It was very flavorful. The portion size are big! You definitely get your money’s worth. Overall great experience here and I’ll definitely be back.

The food is mediocre at best. Super expensive as well. Also I purposely paid in cash to get the 3.5% discount. I still got charged the extra 3.5%. The woman said that’s just what the system does. So every customer paying in cash is getting ripped off. Just pay with a credit card. I wish this place would’ve just stayed closed. Plenty of other places to go to. Won’t be back.

Show up for lunch they were redoing the parking lot. No sign that says hey we’re closed today. When I walk in they’re like oh sorry come back some other day. Unlikely I usually don’t have days off during the week. Thanks for being proactive.

Ordered on doordash and had to wait 40 mins longer than the eta just for them to tell me my order had been canceled due to technical issues. Why would you still be accepting orders through doordash if you cant come through with them. Not to mention 4 or 5 different drivers wasted their time trying to pick up food they hadn’t prepared. Easily the worst service I’ve had in a while.

Marilyn’s came recommended from friends to mom who recommended it to us. We were super happy with the fish tacos and she was quite happy with the special. Everything was really fresh and smelled & looked good. Descent quantity and price. Great taste and quality.

The food was delicious. Prices not too bad either. I had the grilled fish tacos-amazing! The only issue we had was the delay in getting our food. Their weren’t more than a few tables filled but we as did the family next to us, waited for close to 30 mins. to get our food. It seemed that they were very busy filling to go orders. I get that but they either need more kitchen staff or serve the people sitting in the restaurant first. Again the food was really delicious. We will give it another try for sure.

Marilyn’s is not your ordinary restaurant, it’s more like going to Mom’s for dinner. The owner is almost always there and you’re sure to get a warm welcome. If that’s not enough, the meals are outstanding and portions are very generous. I discovered this gem about two weeks ago and have been back several times with family and friends. I encourage you to try it. You will not be disappointed.

Outstanding food and incredible staff. I missed all the great “hole in the wall” restaurants in LA and thought it was a trade off for living in the ‘burbs. Then I stumbled on Marilyn’s…the food rivals the best spots in LA on taste and quality. It appears to be family-run and everyone there (staff) was happy and friendly. I highly recommend the experience to all Mediterranean food lovers!

The food was good once we finally got it. The servers were nice but kind of short with people and you got to watch the kitchen staff and front of house argue about tickets. We will go back but we will call ahead and order take out. I had a gyro plate with salad and Hummus. Yum! He had a gyro sandwich and cioppino. The “stew” was not a stew but a loose broth. Flavor was good but not what was expected.
