They were packed and busy, but the aesthetic is on point, the food is great. The staff are friendly and it was worth the wait time. My mother and I split a plate and we both are full. Wait until you try all the different salsas; different flavors than I’ve ever had before and I loved it. The prices are very reasonable. The portion sizes are good. The fideo app was yum. Parking is tight but, great experience.

We tried it out since it was new. First off, you better brush up on your Spanish, because the menu contains very little English. Me and my daughter got the enchiladas. They were great. The tortillas and queso were excellent as well. The salsa for the chips ranged from tomato juice to the green sauce hot enough to strip paint. The middle version had a great smokey flavor, with a little heat. For being in South Texas, the sweet tea was pretty weak. The decor of the place was bright and lively, and looked very clean. Granted, it was getting pretty busy when we were ready to leave, but our waitress was almost non-existent for about 15 minutes. The pay at the cashier needs another approach. With tables right next to the counter, if you get a few people trying to pay at the same time, you have no choice but to invade peoples space when they are trying to eat. I didn’t look at the parking in the rear, but if you want to park in the front, you had better bring a small car. It’s tight! I know I did a lot of complaining, but its actually a nice little restaurant. It just needs some fine tuning to be a great place.

Food was great, but the atmosphere gave me a lot of anxiety. There was loud music, a lot of people, and I was seated right next to the register and I felt like everyone was standing over me while they waited in line to pay. which made it uncomfortable.
Unfortunately, I didn’t receive great customer service. It seemed like others were getting good service, but after being seated no one came to take my drink or food order. I had to ask someone to help me. I was on my lunch break, so this was very inconvenient.
After my order was finally taken, I kept hearing the kitchen call out my table number. Since I didn’t have an assigned waiter, my food wasn’t brought to me right away and I had to wait until someone was available.
I know they just opened, so things may still be falling into place. Because of my experience, I probably won’t return during lunch hours, but I may give it another try in a few months.

I just tried this new place literally around the corner from my house.
I am VERY impressed with this place.
Its quiet, cozy and just charming as hell.
The service was great, my Tea stayed full the whole time. The servers were very quick and so helpful.
The plates were a decent size, good portions for the price I paid and the quality of it. Wow. A nice blend of Authentic Mexican and the slightest hint of Tex Mex influence. I loved it.
I got the Barbacoa Guisada plate and it filled me up.
The starter bowl of 3 Sauces plus a bowl of Fidello soup was a nice touch and the flavor was great.
I’ll Definitely be coming back here.
My only problem was I got in trouble with The Lady at home for sneaking off to try it. Lmao.
But I brought her home a mixed Fajitas plate to appease the Grumpy Goddess.

People were very nice and kind! The food was so yummy! Alfonso needs a raise, no matter how many people or tables he had he still made his way to our table. Everyone should keep in mind this restaurant is still new, nothing but good things to come!
