This was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised, the food was delicious and the portions were big. The rotkohl was almost as good as some I have had in Germany.

We had an amazing experience at the restaurant. Our server, Allison, was so sweet, funny, and did a phenomenal job caring for us. The food is authentic The German cuisine was truly exceptional! Each dish was served in generous portions, providing great value for money, especially considering the prices are standard for a typical dining experience. You absolutely must try the pretzel; it’s warm and perfectly baked with a satisfyingly chewy texture. Don’t miss out on the beer cheese—it’s rich, creamy, and absolutely worth indulging in. Every item on the menu is crafted in-house, and you can genuinely taste the quality and care that goes into each bite.

First time we’ve been here and holy cow. Our experience was wonderful! We started with the pretzel and this thing was bigger than your head! You would think for a pretzel this size it would be over/under cooked, but it came out perfect! Came with beer cheese (very good) and german mustard, which im normally not a fan of, but this mustard is perfection! My wife had the jägerschnitzel and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the wurst plate with a bahama mama and two brats. Simply delicious. The restaurant itself had German decor throughout to add to the atmosphere. The best part of the experience was the classical music playing, it added so much to the diner. We Will definitely be back!

We’ve wanted to try this restaurant for years. We’ve never been on this side of town during the times they are open.
Outstanding food!!! Wonderful service. The portion sizes are incredibly generous. The sauerkraut was nice, not overly pungent.
The pretzel is giant! Spring for dessert, we had the German Chocolate Cake. The serving size was large enough for two.
Service is quick and friendly.
We’re leaving full and happy with leftovers for tomorrow.

My son is studying German this year so we went here for the experience. Wonderful service! Food that was authentic and delicious. Would go again. They also have a bar for over 18 crowd.

Katie was an awesome server! She was polite, friendly, engaging, and helpful. The German food was great too! And BONUS: They have a connected full bar next door with plenty of room and pool tables, darts, shuffleboard, skee ball, and one helluva indoor and outdoor sand volleyball setup. This place is a hidden gem! It was DEFINITELY worth the drive from Elizabethtown, KY.
