Came here on a whim one weekend with the kiddos and by far the best choice I ever made. The owners are so friendly and the food is amazing and fresh. There can be a small wait time if it’s busy but by far worth the wait. I’m sad to see they will be closing down in a few weeks but I wish you the best in every possible way.

This place is such a nice place if you like great food and great conversation. My girlfriend and I have been there three times now, and we fell in love with it from the start. The family who runs it is so sweet, charismatic, and hospitable. The mother and her daughter (Maruska and Marika I think are their names) are full of stories. I remember the first time leaving there it was like we were not only full of food but also emotionally full like eating a meal with a long lost friend. The menu has everything you need, and I’ve never found fresher food at any restaurant, they have a great tea selection, and they will not let you leave without a full stomach and a smile. Prices are fair, so order a few things and strike up a conversation.

Google search as driving us through Beverly landed my wife and I at Marika’s for breakfast on Sunday at 9AM. Nice greeting, nice menu, very friendly family staff and cook. Half filled with locals, easy to start a chat. Food took a while. Would’ve been nice to know that ahead of time in case it mattered. It didn’t and the wait went fast and the food was totally worth the wait! Fresh mushroom and cheese omelet had such great flavor. Eggs creamy and perfect. Home fries were best I’ve had. Very lightly seasoned and cooked perfectly. Nice toast slathered with good butter. Unbelievable organic blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup and salted butter. Perfect in every way. And now the hash… homemade, not too salty, fresh, fine chop, great grilled crisp. Best I’ve had on the North Shore, or anywhere, in my 40 years of dining out. Great spot, ask about the time of food to table ahead of time if that’s an issue for you. Otherwise, go and try it out if you’re in the area!

Little family owned place. Stopped in for breakfest and it was a joy. The food was good I have the eggs and home made hash and my wife had eggs over easy. The eggs in both plates were perfectly done for over easy. The hash was home made and good. When we return to Beverly we will make a point to stop in for breakfest.
