Good Eats guide
Wonderful atmosphere and food. Bright and cheery decor. I had the Breakfast Navajo Taco. It was delicious!! Carne Adovada, beans, eggs on a delicious piece of Navajo fry bread!! Great selection of coffees. Service was courteous and fast!

I had an excellent breakfast experience! The red and green chile were both packed with flavor—just the right kick—and the green definitely brought more heat. The huevos rancheros came in a generous portion and tasted fantastic, and the breakfast burrito with bacon was another standout. I highly recommend getting it smothered with Christmas chile for the perfect balance of spice and richness.
The customer service was just as impressive. I placed my order by phone, and they were friendly, patient, and helpful. When I picked up my food, I was surprised to find they had even decorated my to-go bag—such a thoughtful touch that made the experience feel extra special.
Overall, delicious food, great flavors, and top-notch service. Highly recommend!

Just knowing this is a family business made me wanna try it even more supporting local is the way to go. I had the way Ranchos and they were great. The red chili is tasty but not too hot. I opt to have the rice instead of the beans and I’m glad I did. The rice was fluffy and moist. The desserts are yummy. Stayed hot and the service was top notch ! I will try to get here a few more times before the fiesta because I’m sure it will be impossible to get a seat so come by and support and enjoy yourself. Eat smile and wobble out.

I love the food here! There are so many delicious vegetarian and vegan options, such as subbing tofu scramble at no extra cost. There are also beautiful murals on the walls that enhance the dining experience.

I ordered the huevos rancheros on Uber eats I ordered the egg over medium and it came to me almost raw! I microwaved it for a minute and the yolk was still extremely gooey and undercooked. I work with food for a living so I know the difference between over easy and straight up raw yolk.

Threw it in the microwave for another few minutes to cook the egg. Despite cooking the egg it still upset my stomach.
The manager kind of tried his best to rectify it and its not their fault I have to go through uber eats for a refund. Although, uber eats its notoriously difficult for refunds and I wish he wouldve at least offered a credit since they served me undercooked poultry!
Its sad because the food here is good but I have very little desire to go back and they definitely lost an uber eats regular.
The tomato soup is good though.
I want to add. I ASKED FOR AN EGG OVER MEDIUM medium implies that the egg is still a little raw but partially. Cooked. What I was served was a gooey egg. That calling that egg over easy doesnt sound right because it was so undercooked that I expected a baby chick to come out clucking I KNOW EGG TEXTURE as a chef and this was not an egg over easy it was legit raw it was disgusting

A friend of ours invited us to breakfast at the Marigold Cafe. What a find. Simple little place tucked away on the north side of Journal Center area near the Cabela’s/Bass Pro Shop store. Simple place but very good food. I had a salad. All of the ingredients were crisp and fresh. Nice presentation as well. My compatriots dishes were also well prepared and delicious.

Loved their green chilli chicken curry, nun and cinnamon roll. The curry was very flavorful and spicy! Samosa was lacking flavor but fresh. Loved the atmosphere, quick and friendly service, reasonable price. Just didn’t like the fact about asking for 18-20% tips when we are ordering food at front and seating ourselves.
