Been to Marie Callender before for dessert pies but never for dinner. Stopped by for date night and tried their dinner for two which includes appetizers (we opted for two soups) and each of us got a burger or sandwich. Everything was so good. The chili taste great with the complementary cornbread, the clam chowder was piping hot. The staff suggested the Works Frisco sandwich and roasted turkey club which we swapped for the sourdough bread which had a yummy garlic flavor. The dessert was included and we got the pecan pie and key lime pie. We would come here again! The staff was really friendly and offered many suggestions and checked in on us.

Going on, decades strong! Food is great, but I must say, the chicken tenders were a little on the dry side. But the pies are amazing! Definitely the spot to hit up during the holidays! Staff is Wonderful!

I normally just come to pickup pies but got together with a friend for a quickbite. Sevice is really good at this location and the menu is pretty has a nice variety but they are famous for their pies and comfort menu items. Their appitizers are very good and it a great place to stop by for a drink and a quick bite.
The venue is very nice and cozy and the servers are very friendly, there is plenty of parking.

Previously, I only come here once a year to buy pies for Thanksgiving dinner. And when I was in college, their frozen dinners were my favorite. Today, I finally had my first dine in experience here and this is officially one of my favorite spot!
When I first walked into to the dinning area, I was impressed with their classic decor. I’m sure they were the original furniture and they don’t look cheesy. We ordered $40 for two person deal. For $40, we get to pick 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, and 2 slices of pie. And, their portions were HUGE (and tasty, of course)! It took a bit longer than usual for the waitress to take our order (I believe there were only two waiters at that time). Once we placed the order, food came out fast and hot. We had to pack more than half of our entrees and two uneaten pies togo.

Never got refills on any drinks (water, coffee, soft drinks). The tables were never cleared off as we finished meals or appetizers so the table was completely covered with empty plates.
Passage aggressive signs covered a popcorn machine about not serving yourself popcorn saying something like “how many signs do we have to put up” with frowns scrawled on them. I get staff’s frustration but the signs are tacky and unprofessional but match the vibe of this place.

I got to admit, I have drove by this Marie Callenders for years on end, but have never gone in to try it. Finally tried it this past Sunday for dinner, food are good and in huge portions. The decor are a bit dated, but still have a 70s diner vibe to it. I’m sure if they remodel a bit, it will bring more people to this place

I get there when dining opens up to avoid the crowds. Sometimes I am seated in the bar location. The music is very loud for an old guy like me. I prefer the opposite side but they are usually under staff. The food is fair the staff seem under staff at times and service can take a while. The air conditioning has been down for a while and the fans blows dust and gives allergies. Will they ever fix the HVAC system? I no longer drive and walking distance for me so I have to suck it up.
