Fish fry was excellent. Service was great! We had the cod & Bluegill combo, and Lake Perch w /no bones! Super busy during Lent season, but wait staff was friendly, customers were friendly and answered our “first-Timers” questions! No silverware, unless you ask.. So, ask for napkins! 🙂 We will be back. Just plan for a wait. We have better expectations now! 🙂

Amazing food, amazing service. It’s been 5 years since I was here last (according to Google) and everything was as good as ever. I had perch and blue gill, both were crispy and delicious, fried to perfection, but without excessive batter. The staff was also great. I felt right at home despite the fact I don’t go out to bars/restaurants by myself very often. All in all a great experience.

Heard the hype for years. Finally got here and saw the long line and paper plates and got nervous. Unnecessarily. Fantastic! Only open two nights a week, all fish fry.

Great perch fry! The service and food were excellent. They only serve fish dinners. They did this very well. I recommend visiting!

We went on a Friday around 6:30pm. It was fairly busy already, there was about a 20min wait. Warm, homey atmosphere. The decor tells the Family history, which was fascinating. Once seated we ordered drinks and our meals, I ordered perch, my guy ordered walleye. We had a little bit of a wait for our food, as the kitchen was very busy. I guess they do a great take out business as well. The wait was ok tho, we chatted and saw others get up and ‘visit’ other tables as many seemed to know each other. Lots of regulars. Food arrived and was awesome! Great tasting! Definitely will make this our neighborhood Friday fish fry spot! Thanks for a great experience! Staff was just lovely too!

I heard this was the place to be for a good perch fish fry so I had to check it out. We arrived here around 630pm on a Friday night and there was no wait. You seat yourself so you can pick your own table which is nice. The waiter came over to us right away and explained the whole menu to us as it was our first time. We ordered and received our food before 7pm. The service was great and fast. The perch was excellent and the cheese curds were perfectly made. 1 side of fries is definitely enough for 2 people to share. I will be coming back to try some of the other fish!

Decided to stop in for the first Friday fish fry during lent. The parking lot was packed, but surprisingly a few tables were available when we went inside. First time being here, a dimly lit dining area, and also room to eat at and around the bar. We were seated immediately in the dining area. The menu had plenty of seafood options, and I decided on the Walleye. Absolutely fried to perfection. Lightly breaded huge portion of double walleye. Tartar sauce was on point, and the rye bread with onion was excellent as well. Ordered fries separately, and quickly found out I didn’t need them. Service was amazing, friendly, and timely. Not to mention the old fashioned was delicious as well. A true Wisconsin fish fry! We will definitely be back again!

As of now my go to spot for Friday night fish fry! They’ve been around since the 30s and still know what they’re doing. Jennifer and Ally behind the bar make a mean old fashioned as well. This place doesn’t disappoint

The best perch in town. Simple fish menu. Fries and cheese curds are good (chicken strips available). Parking can be tight. A definite go-to place for perch on a Friday night.

The absolute best. Simple. Fish is not overly breaded or fried. Just the basics and they knock it out of the park. Friendly service.
