Always looking for a hidden gem! Well this isn’t it. Smothered breakfast burrito was eggs, a few little pieces of bacon, American cheese in a tortilla smothered with some nasty green sauce from a can it tasted. Daughter ordered a club sandwich. Waitress came out after 10 minutes said they didn’t have Texas toast so asked if she wanted white or wheat. Took about 20 minutes to get food. We were only customers. Daughter ended up with a BLT. No club. We ordered diet coke but they didn’t have any. Ordered 2 waters. Water tasted terrible. Ate a little and left to get get food in Lamar. I always drive by this on my back and forth between Kansas and Colorado and see their roadside flags and sign that says good food. Lol. Just close up shop. It’s obvious nobody likes your food. Very awkward place. Waste of our time and money.

Fresh, filling, flavorful, hospitality. This is Maria’s. I’m fortune to have stopped here on a chance while heading west and met a kind owner and some nice staff. I got a burrito to go and had to pull over to eat it. It was very heavy and filled to the tortillas capacity. Just take 5 minutes to pull in and get anything on her menu. You’ll be pleased. Thank you!

Food was a great deal for the price. Not the best food I have ever had but $10.99 for 4 enchiladas and sides is a steal!
We were the only customers when we went in. Biggest complaint was all the noise. There was music coming out of the kitchen, a TV in front of us playing the news loud enough to hear in the entire restaurant, and a guy that worked there was sitting at a table behind us watching videos on tiktok or YouTube shorts or something with the volume turned up. It was very overstimulating for being the only people in the place.

Passing through from Oklahoma to Colorado. Wow!! Incredibly authentic food! I had the barria tacos with rice and beans! The consumé with the tacos was fantastic and the rice and beans are amazing! My husband had chicken and beef enchiladas and they were fantastic! The salsa was the best salsa I have ever had. If you’re passing through Coolidge Kansas, you MUST stop here to eat!

I am in Holly to be with my mom during her last days. I have been trying to find somewhere to eat breakfast and have a cup of coffee. A local finally recommended Maria’s and I am so glad that they did. A hot breakfast and a good cup of coffee is so good for my body and soul right now. Thanks for being the only place within 30 miles that I can sit down for a meal each morning. I will be returning every day until I am no longer needed in Holly.

Maria makes authentic and delicious Mexican food! Loved the green salsa with green peppers. My husband had the Chile Colorado – excellent flavor. Interesting to talk with owners and other customers. One man highly recommended their breakfast omelet. Eat here!

We stopped in Coolidge today and ate at a great little restaurant. Food and service was excellent. If you’re passing thru stop here! We have a 38 ft motorhome and there was parking on the side for us just in case you’re also traveling with a large rig.
