It was a nice small taco shop, no restrooms no high chairs, a dining area but it’s closed. You have to wear masks and there is markings on the floor where to stand because if the covid19. The guy at the counter had a mask but not the cook.. They both looked healthy and we’re very friendly. The Good was good. I had Carne asada tacos and rolled tacos for my friend. Pretty good.

This place reminded me of El Grullense in Los Banos. When I lived in LB that was my goto spot. Ive been living here in Atwater and never noticed Maria’s , which is amazing since Ive lived here for 7 years. Im definitely glad I found this place. My fav is menudo and Maria’s has it just the way I like it, in a 32oz cup. I also got some mini tacos as well. They also have covered outside eating. This will now be my goto spot. Im looking forward to winter, so I can swing by and pick up some menudo for work. This place is definitely worth 5 stars.

The building is an old taco bell, not up to date. Service was good, staff was friendly. But… on a steak and egg burrito, I got no egg. When I told them, they acted like it was no big deal. So if you don’t mind eating whatever they give you the food was good. Prices are reasonable and have a good portion size.

Food not worth the money they are way too overpriced. Taco trucks are way better around here and cheaper. The rice was really bland, horchata tasted quite watery and asada fries drenched in way too much fake nacho cheese and extremely spicy. The meat had okay flavor but overall it was a huge waste of money.
