This is one of those dives you don’t want to leave a review for because you don’t want anyone else to know and to keep it all to yourself, but regardless, they deserve it! I got the Cuban torta, and it was SO good. I will be back for sure to get another. Best torta I’ve ever had. Soft bread, juicy meat, fresh, hot, fast, delicious.

So far have only been here for breakfast but if that’s any indicator I’m sure the rest is great as well. Good food, good service and good prices.
The only complaint I have is that the tables are kind of small, so it can get a little tight if you have more than a couple of people, but even that isn’t too bad if you relocate the extra stuff on the table.

I love eating and reviewing Mexican food. Maria’s is the absolute best place I’ve eaten in DFW area since I moved here in 2017. This place reminds me of my childhood. The food has a Hispanic home cooked meal taste. It reminds me of my dad making meals. The smell of the cooking also hits home.
The Carne Asada Taco is the best steak Taco I’ve eaten. It’s a must try. My wife got the Pastor Taco and had to order more to take home for later. That never happens. I definitely recommend the steak and pork tacos.
We also got the California Style fries. Interestingly, these fries also reminded me of the food I grew up on. I was shocked at how much everything reminded me of home.
Beans were below average. Rice was about average. I can’t knock them in it though.
The horchata was great. I recently ate another place that had bad Horchata. This one was good.
The customer service was exceptional. I absolutely enjoyed the entire experience. I was pleasantly surprised that I found a new #1 Mexican Restaurant in the DFW area.
I give Maria’s Mexican Restaurant an 8.8 out of 10. This place is absolutely phenomenal. You won’t regret coming here.
