Must go place when we visit family in Illinois!! F9d is always exceptional and the margaritas (although expensive! (2 for $38 makes your dinner bill add up!)) are delicious. I like the skinny margarita!
We had Aye Chihuahua, beef burrito and steak fajitas. Enough food for each of us to eat 2 days with leftovers! Oh and the best house salad dressing And black bean soup and chips and salsa!!!

We had a great hostess/waitress. It had a cozy vibe and very good food. We went there a little before closing, and they still sat us at a table, so that was nice. It was the night before I had to fly home so it was nice to have a sit down dinner with the family and they didn’t rush us out because they were closing highly recommended if you’re in the area.

Arturo was absolutely kind and helped me choose a simple mango margarita, if I had more time I would have done the upgraded margarita. But genuinely a kind and chill place for dinner, a calm drink, the mood and ambiance is so nice. Staff is attentive and I see them constantly cleaning. Abel helped me place my food order to go but I cannot put into words how much I appreciate him letting do a food order after the kitchen closed. He got my shrimp burrito dinners out swiftly and he was very nice! On my way out, I got to meet Maria, the owner of the store and such a welcoming and kind soul. Feliz navidad Maria, your staff is as kind and friendly as my family from Peru have a great holiday, you will see me around again!

• The red sauce tastes exactly like pizza marinara, not salsa.
• Steak tastes off and gamey.
• Chicken is dark meat, shredded, and not disclosed on the menu.
• Tacos are buried in cheese and lettuce. You cannot even see the meat.
• Tortillas are clearly house made but badly undercooked.
• Tacos fall apart from excess toppings.
• $5 extra for green sauce and limes is ridiculous.
Overall, poor quality and bad execution. I would not return.

I had the pleasure of trying the Pork Tenderloin form special menu item at Maria’s Mexican Restaurant in Rosemont, and it was absolutely outstanding! The grilled meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the fresh grilled vegetables brought an amazing balance to the dish. The plate came with rice, beans, guacamole, and fresh tomato garnish…, every single side complemented the main entrée beautifully.
This dish was full of bold, authentic flavors and felt like a true labor of love from the kitchen. It was not only delicious but also presented beautifully, making it feel extra special.
I really hope Maria adds this to the regular menu…, it’s too good to only be available as a special! Highly recommend trying it if you get the chance

I made reservations to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday (Leo) my papichulo, known also as Pops to his daughter Cindy and son Israel, and to the grandkids Tony, Zaida and David as GPA. I was happy that Santa known as GMA was also here to join in the celebration along with Tracy our awesome daughter-in-law. Angel our future grandson-in-law and Isabel our future granddaughter-in-law. First impressions everyone we encountered was very friendly and pleasant. Our server was very attentive and extremely patient. She was simply wonderful, keeping us very happy and content. Drinks were very tasty with a kick. Some of the food was really good except for the tamales and the tostadas being a little dry. Once we were done with our meals the waitress quickly cleared the table asking if there was anything else that she could get us, but we were all set. She was awesome. Our waitress came back with the birthday cake and a musical lit candle that we brought. Everyone began singing happy birthday in celebration of Leo’s 70th birthday. My husband made a speech that touched the depths of my heart. He was happy and sentimental. All the love filled the room and was felt as new beautiful memories were made. I am so grateful and thankful for God’s amazing blessings and great favor over all of our lives. ❤️

Everything was absolutely excellent! From the food to the drinks to the service. Everything was perfect. The flavors were authentic and fresh, the drinks were delicious and well-made, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming. You can truly tell they care about their customers. Maria’s Mexican Restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is so fun, lively, and welcoming — the perfect spot to celebrate something special. We brought our daughter here for her 21st birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make it memorable. The sombrero birthday song was such a great touch — she loved every second of it! Went to Maria’s and had a great experience! My server was amazing – she gave me advice on what to order and I’m so glad I took it. The carne asada was cooked to perfection. Their sangria is also top notch, one of the best I’ve had in a long time!

I ordered the chicken breast with mole sauce. The mole was ok on flavor, but the chicken breast, although somewhat juicy, tasted like it was boiled and flavorless. I also ordered a top shelf lime jalapeño margarita, that was delicious so I ordered 2 more. To be honest I feel they used well margarita because i was deathly ill afterwards. This place has great atmosphere, great service, the food in my opinion could be better. The red rice looked home made and the beans tasted well.
