My family and I visited Maria’s and were very displeased with the service we received (actually were denied). While they had adequate seating, they refused to accommodate us. The manager did not come to us to keep us informed about the originally set expectations of 20 minutes. We had to call him over multiple times…only for him to wave us off and walk away “busily”. Our 20 minute wait time was actually 40 minutes with multiple parties (of various sizes) being seated. This is not an establishment we would recommend for any sized party.

It was lunch hr here and this place wasn’t packed at all. So we tried it. It’s nice a bit cramped from all the furniture. The kids loved all the things to look at. I Service was present, just not as friendly as you have liked. The food was fresh and hot, just not seasoned…. at all, my husband got a burger, and I bought fajitas, and for kids, chicken tenders. The only thing that had Flavor was those chicken tenders lol, and by the look of them, those were pre-cooked. I can see why they may not have the traffic they want.

The the tortilla chips for the lightest crispiest chips I’ve ever eaten before! Loved it! The salsa was good little spicy but not too bad if you’re into spice. He ordered two soft tacos which he enjoyed. I got the enchilada rancheros that had wonderful tasting pork in it as well as some peppers onions and guacamole on the side. The guacamole help ease down the heat from this dish. My boyfriend enjoyed it as well! LOL would definitely recommend Maria’s!

I always love coming to Maria’s. Today is Cinci De Mayo and they were incredibly packed. But needless to say they did their best to have everyone seated in a timely manner. I ordered my meal to go and they kept checking to see if I needed anything. Employees are so friendly. Food was incredible as well. Big fan! One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in meridian!!

I passed thru here last week because I wanted some Mexican food that was near the truck stop I was parked at. I’m from Tucson Arizona, where we have some of the best Mexican food in the U.S. Anyway this restaurant is better than the food from my hometown. I left full and satisfied. Also the bill was very affordable and the service was beyond excellent!
