So disappointing is the fast food and ordering to go. I ordered 3 meals one was the shrimp al ajillo and it was cold and missing the mushrooms and tomatoes, second order was chimmi with chicken and cheese and beans and red sauce was missing red sauce and was also cold, and the 3 order was cheese quesadilla not only cold the size of the quesadilla was like a mini taco. I’ve never had any issues while dining in here but the to go order proportions, and missing items are ridiculous. We have been here three times within a month. And we will keep going. The chicken was perfectly seasoned. The carnitas were delicious. My husband got the carne asada and he said it was super good. The margarita hit the spot. Staff were friendly and attentive. The salsas are also very good. I wish I took more pictures but I only took it of the margarita.

I’m not a picky person and I never leave reviews on places but I feel robbed of $43 dollars. This place is gross got a simple chicken cheese and rice. Never had a Mexican place give half of a chicken breast cut into quarters with 3 day old rice and saturated in a 5 gallon buckets worth of cheese sauce to hide unflavored boil chicken and soggy over cooked rice. Save your money and just drive the extra 12 mins to greenwood.

Took guests there and had a great time. The service was exceptional as they even catered to our alcoholic needs beyond the menu. The decor was attractive and the menu broad enough to meet all our needs/wants. Salsa and chips were great, too! Will be back again soon!

You might as well not eat out if you are going to complain about prices…every where has gone up.

Score should be less than one star. I ordered a beef burrito and an enchilada. Had I known both were exactly the same I’d have ordered one or the other. They were both covered in sauce. Both were so extremely salty that I asked for cheese to mask the over abundance of salt, which did no good. I told the wait staff that I couldn’t eat any of it due to the salt. A few bites cost me twenty two dollars, no discount, no offer for something different, they looked at me like I was ignorant. I paid my bill, left hungry and mentioned that I would be posting and telling the hotel we stayed at NOT to recommend this place to anyone.

They are now top notch with excellent food and service. I think they are now the best in all of Greenwood and Abbeville. When I first started going to Marie’s under its new ownership, they had some kinks to work out; however, they listened to me if I had something wrong with food and fixed it. You can tell that they want to please customers, serve excellent food, and be excellent all around. They have listened and improved to being now excellent in my book. They have the best salsa and great Nacho’s. All of the food is prepared with excellence. They also have great water and sweet tea. It makes me think they took my advice about a good water filter because Abbeville doesn’t have the greatest water. The people at the cash register are super nice and the owner is awesome. They really care about your experience at Maries’s. I highly recommend this restaurant.
