Had a great dinner at Maria’s! Tried something new. The burger was awesome, piled high with meats. The fried jalapeños were spicy, and the shrimp meal was soon good. Huge selection of beers and Mexican drinks. Margs are delicious. Family friendly and well worth the drive, right off I-80.

Really great Mexican food at great prices! The service was good but they need more help. There was only one woman working as server and a man working the bar.

Update: 2am and both me and my girlfriend have woken up throwing up. 4 hours after both only sharing Maria’s as a meal. Steer clear. 100% steer clear of this place.
Man, I’m so upset. These folks just don’t care about their business. I was hesitant to dine here for a weekend treat based on the amount of bird poop accumulated around the building, brushed it off as it’s a little cold instead of taking it for the red flag it was.
The server was far from attentive, we didn’t even ask for refills on our empty drinks because we felt like an inconvenience. Every time we needed something we ended up waiting 10 minutes after asking the first time and making eye contact to cue we needed service because they were eating pizza and talking on their cell phones. For on having 1 other table in the restaurant- you’d think they’d be more on top of customers.
The food, it did come out fast and it’ll fill that hole but it’s nothing to brag about eating. Stack the lack of service on top of that and steep prices, what a waste of $50 for two people.
I highly reccomend just going to Chanos- where they make you feel excited to give them your money for your fill of tacos and make sure your drink la and chips are always full even when they have 100 people in the restaurant.

A small Mexican restaurant with friendly staff and good food. Parking is tight but available! Not a place for those with celiac / GF requirements. While they said they could do gf food, nothing was marked and the staff didn’t appear to have a good handle on the requirements. My wife is celiac and there is a strong likelihood that she was given contaminated food as she did get sick after the meal. For those without the GF restriction, it’s a nice place for a bite. My meal was fine. Given that my wife was ill from possible gluten contamination, we won’t return.

The food is really good. The atmosphere is awesome. The staff is very friendly and nice. Would definitely recommend stopping here plenty of a big truck parking across the street at Sinclair’s .

The service was fast — they brought us complimentary nachos with salsa at the beginning, which was a nice touch. There was a wide variety of dishes to choose from, and the waiter was friendly. We didn’t have to wait long; our order arrived very quickly. We had the cheese quesadilla and tacos — everything was delicious.

The amount of bird poop outside should have been the first red flag. But we decided to try it anyways. No attention from the staff- I had to get the attention of the staff who were too busy eating pizza and dinking around in their cell phones to even bring our tab(heaven forbid some ask if we wanted a refill after being at the table for 1hour- we never got a refill). The food tasted off. At 2am both my girlfriend and I woke up with indigestion, which again if they don’t care to clean up the outside where folks can see imagine what the places people can’t see look like this place needs shut down.

I hate to do this since this used to be one of my favorite places in Laramie to get some Mexican food, but since the change of ownership, I’ve found it harder and harder to have a good meal here. The chips and salsa are still excellent and get you in the mood for a nice meal, but most of their entrees have gone downhill. For one, they used to be the only place in town to get green chili cheese fries, and even though they still have all the ingredients to make it, they no longer offer it. They also now have the worst chili relleno I’ve ever experienced, putting the poor thing inside a soggy omelette. The menu says it has an egg coating but I figured that meant dipped in eggwash, not presented in a thick egg envelope. The rice and refried beans they serve alongside most entrees are also just flavorless. The staff are nice and it’s got a cool cantina vibe so it’s unfortunate to say I won’t be back

The food here is Delicious! Alejandro the cook did amazing with the food and was very friendly and gave us better service than the wait staff. Meeting him was the highlight of the evening and the reason why we even gave this place 3 stars and not 1! The service by the wait staff was mediocre at best. We had 2 female servers arguing “quietly” I’m guessing over tables or who knows what, but one server ended up leaving and the other was left alone. The server that left, probably should have stayed, she looked like she had more experience and was open and honest to us, instead of making things up like the one that stayed. I ordered the Strawberry Daiquiri, and that was about a 1 out of 10. Recommend this place for the food, they just need better servers.

Had a delicious, authentic Mexican dinner here. I ordered the enchilada plate. It came with three chicken enchiladas with red sauce. There was an option for green sauce as well. Also the side of beans and rice. The complementary chips and salsa were delicious. The enchiladas were authentic tasting as were the beans and the rice. The restaurant was spacious and lively, and I enjoyed a margarita that was great.
