Stopped in for lunch today. Had the Spicy Keema with rice. Excellent flavor! Perfect size dish for lunch at a good price. Young lady who served us is very polite, nice, and helpful in explaining available dishes. Is now on our list of go-to places for lunch!
As others have said, there are several tables in the middle of a small general store. Don’t let the fact that it’s in a small, general store stop you from giving them a try.

Had the Samosas and Goan Beef Cutlet Pao with home chips and they were absolutely delicious. Excellent spot right near downtown with a welcoming environment. All the staff were very kind, and the lady who took our order took her time to answer any questions we had about the food.
Can’t wait to come back!

So so so good! Maria was in the back cooking and Liz was working the front. This was my first time catching them while they’re open and Liz was very helpful. They had the wicked weed hop cocoa on draft and she let me sample it before I got it.
The spicy shrimp tacos were out of this world. Fresh tortillas, fresh shrimp and fresh beer. My new favorite lunch spot.

This was our first time here and I really like to give stronger reviews than this but I will say the food was excellent no two ways about that. But paying $23 for two dishes one was tacos which there were three and the other dish I think was enchiladas the quality was good but no chips no rice no nothing with it. For me that is way overpriced especially when there are so many other great restaurants that give you excellent food at a fair price. I don’t like to be picky it’s just a fact

Small convenience store with tables in the middle and a kitchen in the back of the store. Maria has been creating fresh India Cuisine, Brazilian and American Cuisine since 2014 in the back of The Drop In Store at 709 North Main Street, Greenville, SC. A quaint and cozy neighborhood atmosphere with fresh made menu items made for eat-in or takeout, whichever you prefer. One of the best kept secrets that locals call their own! Next time you’re in the area, you must stop in and treat yourself to a sample of the food and the little taste of atmosphere that countries grew up on.

Great menu (always changing) ask for a reccomendation, if you cant decide.
Have a beer with your meal! Seating is limited but it is great “to-go” as well.

The food at Maria’s is delicious, homemade, fresh. The shrimp tacos are the best in Greenville. The Drop In store is a bodega… you dont eat here for the atmosphere, but there is a unique “step back in time” feel of the dining area and it’s clean and cozy.

I had the carnitas tacos. Great flavor, and the taco shells had a good crunch.
Looking forward to coming back

What a surprise! My girlfriend and I discovered this eatery, for parking was a problem where we had set out to eat. The food is freshly made and the ingredients are well balanced. Great presentation of food on one’s plate. Menu is moderately priced and one gets bang for the bucks! ***** service. Highly recommended!! Give it try!
