Mama Maria used to be much better the pizza actually tasted like real pizza. We visited today and noticed the name has changed to Maria’s Pizzeria, but the experience was very disappointing. The place was extremely dirty, the tables were not cleaned, and we had to clean our own table. The person at the register seemed least bothered, even after seeing us clean it ourselves. The handwash area was also unhygienic, which made us feel sick. If customers are being charged, basic cleanliness should be maintained. Even if the food quality declines, hygiene should at least meet an acceptable standard.

My colleague and I were looking for a Halal place on our last day in Chicago and we end up looking for Halal Pizza which Maria’s came up close to us. At first we could not find the place because the outside lights didn’t even have the name listed.
We walked into a small place where it had no seating and no TVs or any thing on. It almost seems like the place was abandoned but we were soon introduced by the server who came out from the back asking us what we’d like to get ordered.
We end up ordering a large all meat pizza with sausage and pepperoni and chicken. I would have to say the pizza was definitely worth eating. Does guys have a really nice Pizza taste which was unique to many other places.
I would suggest just updating the restaurant a bit more modern so that way people can enjoy pizza at your location. Turn on your three TVs that you have which displaying maybe some kind of music videos or something and also have your chairs down instead of having them on top of the table which shows that you’re closed. This place has a very good potential of becoming a great place to eat at if they can do a little more things by cleaning up the place. I would definitely go back to this place for more pizza in the future. Thank You

Maria’s Pizzeria is absolutely fantastic! The pizza is consistently delicious – perfectly crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and just the right amount of cheese. Their specialty toppings are creative and full of flavor, and you can tell everything is made with care. The Zinger Burger at Maria’s Pizzeria tastes amazing! Fresh, flavorful, and worth every bite. Last night was my first time attending Maria’s Halal Pizzeria and I definitely will be coming back. Ordered pizza, chicken tenders and fries. All of the food was great and fresh. The chicken tenders were juicy and consisted mostly of chicken instead of breading like other tenders. Paying via cash provides a decent discount.

The Halal pizza is incredibly flavorful with fresh ingredients and the perfect crust. The wings are just as impressive, juicy, and seasoned perfectly. It’s hard to find Halal options this good, and they’ve absolutely nailed it. Highly recommend!

First thing it’s HALAL, second online order and pick up is EASY and third the food tastes DELICIOUS.
My first visit and I ordered the mama supreme pizza, pita spicy chicken sandwich, Bihari kabob sandwich, and bun kabob burger. The Bihari kabob and pita spicy were my favorite, literally bursting in flavors!!! The pizza was really good as well.
Heard the wings are terrific, will be back to try them next. Good halal joint in the Chicago NW suburbs, do check them out.

Tried their pizza today for the first time, and honestly, the experience was disappointing. The guy at the reception server (Abdullah) acted like he owned 5,000 branches across the U.S. no smile, no greeting. I waited 20 minutes just to pick up my order, and there was zero empathy. The pizza was average, but the customer service was a solid -5. Even when I said, “have a good one,” I was ignored as if I’m somehow responsible for him working at a pizza joint.
I’ve seen places like this shut down in a jiffy just because of bad customer service. No matter if you’ve got the best food in town if customers aren’t treated right, you’re going down.

The Schaumburg has become one of the worst spots. The customer service is absolutely absurd. The cashier doesn’t seem to understand a bit about customer service. This place never picks up the phone call.
Went for dine-in today at 9pm and dine-in was closed an hour prior to the closing time(10pm). I had senior citizens with me.
