8 minutes from our chiropractors office we dropped in for breakfast and were amazed!! The staff was so friendly & prompt, the food came out in under 10 minutes and was beyond delicious! It was clearly cooked fresh. Wait staff checked on us plenty but not overly. We will definitely be back again!

I would like to start off by saying, Ms Anna YOU ARE A DEAR, AND A PLEASURE TO RECEIVE A MEAL FROM— very pleasant atmosphere for calm eating and fun conversations! food is absolutely DELICIOUS! I Just moved to this area 6 months ago, and Finally got my chance to walk in! My oldest son and I did a lunch date to break in the new place to us! So glad we did, Ms Anna served us up with nice talk and great dishes w extra drinks, she totally went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied,,we literally kept smiling! The food was GREAT! BEST FRIES HANDS DOWN AND REALLY REAL BACON I had to emphasize the fact of the bacon!! Free soup w our meal– DELICIOUS! I was too full to even bite into my burger — that’s my dinner tonight!! Overall my son and I really enjoyed our first visit to Maria’s Grill, everyone was very kind. WE WILL BE RETURNING IN THE NEAR FUTURE! Thank You All Kindly, Ms T.

After driving by Maria’s Grill for years, I’m kicking myself for not stopping sooner. seriously, what was I waiting for? Even at 1:30 PM on a Sunday, it was buzzing with diners, a testament to its popularity. Inside wasn’t cramped like some diners. I was surprised by the spacious, clean dining area but the waiting area? Tiny. It serves too many purposes for its small size. Luckily, the to-go service is super efficient my food was ready before I knew it.
I ordered the boneless pork-chop sandwich which is something I wouldn’t usually choose. It was Juicy, flavorful, and delicious.

Me and my family came down to North Carolina for the Diner En Blanc – Charlotte! We had an amazing time last evening! My cousins from charlotte told us about Maria’s so we went the last 2 days for breakfast yesterday and lunch today and let me tell you were weren’t disappointed The portion sizes are very large so we had to get to go boxes! The food is seasoned well and the atmosphere is great! Anytime, I come to charlotte to see my family I will definitely be coming to Maria’s for a great meal!

If you want a friendly place to visit for breakfast, you have to check out this place. This was our first time going. Some friends had recommended it a few months ago. We are so sorry we waited this long. It’s a small restaurant located in a small shopping center. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. We went on a Sunday around 11 a.m. We were lucky because there was only a 5 minute wait. Sundays are their busiest day. We were amazed at the low prices and large amounts of food. We had a wonderful server, Jayme. She attended to us as soon as we were seated and had an endearing personality. Those of you who follow me know I am a sweet tea snub. The sweet tea was excellent! My husband had black coffee. Before being served, we engaged in a conversation with the table next to us. It just so happened that the guy did Google reviews also. I would recommend that you follow him. He’s listed under M Ruffin. They were visiting from Durham, NC, and it was also their first time.
My husband had fried catfish and grits. The fish was so crispy. I had a cheese omelet, grits, and bacon. The grits were really good. You know it can be hit or miss with grits, but theirs was just right. We both had the big, fluffy biscuits.
I spoke to the manager, as well as the owner, Maria. They’ve been there for about 15 years. She is such a humble and friendly person. She as well as the manager were bussing tables.
We will definitely be back. This time during the week with or without friends. Keep up the GREAT work!

The food is decent quality, good taste, and reasonably priced. However, I have nothing good to say about the customer service from sitting in and eating OR ordering for pickup on the phone. It’s close to home and the prices are good so I’m here often when I don’t feel like cooking.
