I went and they have a mistake in my order, I went for another cup a coffee because the waitress didn’t ask me for another, but I really like the food. When a finish I pay in cash and I asked for my bill ticket and she didn’t give me to me because I pay in cash was weird. In conclusion I love the food, but the customer service could be better. The guy waiter was nice.

I come to port arthur to visit my husband. First time trying and OMG DELICIOUS. I come from SOUTH TEXAS where mexican restaurants are in every corner and let me tell you I haven’t tried one good restaurant back home and this one is TOP TIER SUPER FREAKING DELICIOUS. It was packed when I visit a bit slow service but very atentive service!

Really love this place.Everything I’ve tried is delicious. Starting with the red salsa, great flavor with nice spice. The soups or caldos are my go to, especially on cold days. The Pazole and Caldo de Pollo are wonderful. Plus they serve breakfast all day. And consistently great service and friendly staff.

Use to love this place until today. Walked in, many workers yet no one really engaged to ask if you were eating in or out. Finally got seated. No waitress in sight. After multiple tables were seated a waitress proceeds to the last seated table… I normally don’t review like a Karen but no. Today? I got up and walked out. Los Bandidos food as I learned today is way better anyway. Very poor on customer service Maria’s… just saying.

I order meals (3) from the menu and they let me know around when I could come pick it up. I love the ideal it was fresh and hot and delicious when I brought it to my family. My family enjoyed it and staff there was so polite and friendly.Big smiles,and pretty waitresses and handsome polite waiters. Its so impressive almost out does Casa Ole’s where I usually order. What a nice atmosphere , I’ll be inviting friends and family to try this restaurant out. Magnificent delicious food . Hopefully hoping they will expand.

Continuing my search for good breakfast tacos in south county.
I ordered 2 bacon, egg and cheese tacos for dining in. They were well plated with more cheese than any others I have tried, not that I like that much cheese on my breakfast tacos, but for those who do… The tacos were good approximately standard fare but lacked the grilled bacon flavor I prefer. (Please do not mistake the previous statement; I do NOT like the flavor of an uncleaned grill but I do like plenty of grilled bacon flavor; there is a difference.)
The restaurant decor was standard quality for the area. It sported a well executed Mexican motif hanging in a spiral design over the entire dining room.
This location was Carmela’s for a long time which was good for standard Tex-Mex food. If you were familiar with Carmela’s, it will be easy for you to see this is completely new management. I will try again for lunch or dinner.
