Not familiar with Stockton, I googled the area and this location had good ratings. Didn’t disappoint. Good authentic food, welcoming and kind staff, good prices. Had the menudo, huevos rancheros with the chicana, chilaquiles with scrambled eggs, and chorizo with huevos. Horchata was very good and authentic. Very yummy and filling.

I had high expectations when ordering the chilaquiles, but unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. The dish lacked flavor, the texture was off, and the presentation was poor. It honestly felt more like a rushed, careless plate than a meal that reflects pride in the kitchen.
For a dish that is traditionally bold, comforting, and full of character, what I received was the exact opposite—bland, soggy, and unappetizing. At the price point and reputation this café seems to aim for, this level of quality is unacceptable.
I truly wanted to enjoy this meal, but based on this experience, I would not recommend the chilaquiles here and would hesitate to return.

Great place for breakfast. Never been until a family member taken me. Not alot of parking, but its an easy assessment. Not to crowded and tables are spaces out for eating. Food is freshly made and clean establishment.

Found this place on accident while visiting my mother. It was open at 7am on Sunday. So I gave it a try. I’m glad I did it’s good mexican food it is freshly made so If you are ordering it might take a little bit to get your food. No complaints.. better to have fresh food then the same manufactured tasting food. Good prices , it’s homely …the food I ordered was good.

This place is just ok, It took the server a good 20 min to acknowledge I was there (one of 2 tables). Food is very mediocre very bland. It also took about 20 min to get my food. Overall not too amused by the slow service and bland slow food. Good luck!!!

The best breakfast when you are on a budget. For $8 dollars you get eggs beans and Mexican rice and french fries, plus tortillas. I always get the Chorizo and eggs with the coffee with Canela in it. The service is quick and the servers are friendly.
