Recently stopped at Maria’s to see if he would sponser the Barre Lions Club Disc Golf Tournament. He was eager to help. I decided to buy sandwiches for lunch. The spinach asiago bagels are so great. I had chicken salad and got my partner a turkey sandwich. Both had generous portions of meat and other ingredients. In addition, they give a 5% discount for paying cash. Yum yum. I am so glad they have counter service again.

Bagels are good but the owner is so rude. Unless you are one of his buddies he treats you like you are an inconvenience. There used to be a blonde women who worked there and she was so nice. I used to go there every Sunday to get bagels for my family. I haven’t seen the woman the last couple times I went in and had to deal with the owner which is not a pleasant experience. I know a lot of people who hate dealing with the owner. Not gonna waste my money at a place that treats their customers badly. The owner needs to stay in back and make bagels and get people who have actual customer service skills to work out front. I understand you are short staffed but no reason to be rude to customers who patiently wait in line and order food.

The owner is extremely rude and acts out of hand. He likes to belittle his employees. He likes to blame his actions upon customers and employees. Also the bagels are too overpriced to be treated poorly. I highly do not recommend this business to anyone. In opinion Maria’s Bagels should not continue to be open.
