Recently moved to hillsborough from PA. I don’t eat out often, but when I do I mostly go to a local Italian place. Marianas did not disappoint. So far I have gotten a cheesesteak and a pizza and both were great! They have my business.

I had high hopes for Mariana’s, located near the Wawa and Rita’s Italian Ice in Hillsborough New Jersey. Based on reviews and another individual’s pizza ranking for Hillsborough, NJ, Mariana’s scored quite high and I assumed it would be a hidden gem. Unfortunately, I must have missed something.
The pizzeria itself has a fairly clean and spacious seating area that can fit larger crowds. The register and counter area seems somewhat cluttered and messy. The staff was friendly enough and the atmosphere was pretty normal. Unfortunately, none of this could make up for the quality of the pizza.
The base of the pizza was clearly undercooked featuring a gummy, doughy core. The overzealous seasoning did not help the flavor of the slice, which was fairly bland overall. The chicken parmesan slice wasn’t any better. That slice was also undercooked and the chicken wasn’t very appetizing. It was a strange consistency as if it were unsure whether to be crispy or chewy. Perhaps I got a bad batch or just went at a bad time, but I was fairly disappointed with the meal.

I just ordered from this place tonight for the first time to get pizza for my friend and I, and WOW!!! I was blown away!! I ordered a medium chicken broccoli Alfredo pie and it was absolutely OUTSTANDING! Way better than previous places I’ve ordered pizza from! The chicken was perfectly seasoned and tender and the broccoli was crunchy without being soggy. The cheese and sauce blended perfectly together and didn’t cause me any heartburn or other major GI issues. I have GERD so eating foods like pizza can obviously cause it to flare up, but this pizza didn’t do that! It was so filling without being heavy or causing me major fatigue afterwards. I’ve been living in Hillsborough for months now and just discovered this gem. I will 100% be ordering from here again! Highly recommend this place if you’re in Hillsborough or surrounding areas!!

We have gotten take out and dined in many times. We are always amazed at how good their Latin food is and their Italian food. The menu is so big and diverse and we have never ordered anything we didn’t like. The prices are so reasonable and the portions are good. The staff there is also so kind and pleasant. Love this place!

I ordered catering here for a party. The owner, Nester, was friendly informative and very accommodating. The party was this weekend and the food was dropped off exactly in time and all of our 30 guests kept saying how good the food was. I was very impressed. It was also in the price range with other similar highly rated places and what I would consider reasonably priced for the high quality food and service. Thanks so much for helping make my Moms 90th Birthday a day to remember! I would absolutely order catering from here again. ❤️

Marinas is fantastic! My husband and I have never had a bad experience, it’s our go to place! Tonight we placed a delivery order on door dash and our order never showed up. When we called the restaurant, the owner re made our order and was even on the phone with door dash support to help us get our money back. Can’t say enough good things about their food!
