We had as an appetizer, cup of white queso, that was incredible.

I can’t say enough about the attentiveness of waitresses and staff.
Georgia Hernandez has 40 years of experience and it made our dining memorable.
Greeting from the General Manager ( Lorena ) was so welcoming.
The owner , John Lewis, stopped by our table to express appreciation for our first visit .
His experience and knowledge of recipes added to our understanding of the quality he puts in every dish.
We were surprised when they served a complementary dessert- Skillet Apple Pie.
The skillet was hot with apple pie and topped with vanilla ice cream!

I really enjoyed this place, we went in the late afternoon so we missed the lunch crowd. The service was great and fast! The white queso was amazing!! They even had a cute photo opportunity at the entrance. Definitely will be back!

Tried Mariachi’s for the first time with a pick up order. We ordered the new “pizza birria” menu item that was advertised on their Facebook page. We even clarified twice to the girl taking the order on the phone, that it was the NEW pizza birria item, not just the birria taco plate. When we got home, we received the regular birria taco plate.
We called back, explained what happened, and the man on the phone immediately hung up on us. Crazy. I tried calling back on my phone, and they obviously took the phone offline so rang busy.
There are far superior Mexican restaurants in Texoma, that don’t have atrocious customer service. Given the management’s responses to other negative reviews here about their service (there are MANY), clearly this business does not value quality or service, and I’ll be sharing this experience far and wide.

The food is absolutely delicious. The portion sizes are enough to get you full and you might actually have another meal to take home. My husband got a fried burrito and a mango margarita and I got the chicken quesadillas. The chips and salsa are perfect.

The food is so fresh. The lettuce is crispy. The salsa is perfect. As well as the chips. But… My husband and I drink shots of 1800 tequila bi-monthly. We have ordered it there 3 times. IT IS NOT 1800. It stinks, and is bitter. So we know. They really need to work on their bartender skills. I don’t drink much. But I love to have a cocktail for dessert. They are lacking. But they are much better than La Mesa!! 100%.

Our first visit and we enjoyed the food and service. The waitstaff was attentive to our needs and made sure our food was delivered in a timely manner. Every Mexican restaurant is different so we always go in expecting different flavors. The only thing we didn’t care for was the salsa and we prefer more chunky but it was still tasty. Great tasting food, from the tamales to the tacos we enjoyed our visit.

Our server Caroline was great. She went above and beyond for me. I asked for hot tea and then I noticed that they didn’t have it on the menu. So when she came back to our table I was about to tell another drink choice but to my surprise she brought me a hot cup of tea with lemon and honey, just like I like it. I said to her I didn’t see it on the menu….and she smiled at me…..I love that and I love great customer service. Our world needs more people like Caroline.

I have been sold on la ranchera for my mexican restaurant of choice since my family and I have moved here to sherman. This place may just take the win. I feel they have much more to offer on the menu, I also feel the food was on the same level for freshness and taste, if not better. Part of me wants to try every mexican restaurant in a 20 mile radius to see if they just keep improving. In my mind it will be hard to beat Mariachi’s…. the value was not bad at all especially when you factor in the satisfaction I feel at this moment. My wife and kids also thoroughly enjoyed the chips, salsa, queso, quesadillas and chimichangas. I did as well, along with the mexican shrimp coctail and the mocajete that I ordered! We will be back for sure. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive to us. Highly recommend this establishment!

I had a great experience at Mariachi’s! I ordered the beef fajitas and a Tex-Mex enchilada, and both were absolutely fantastic. The fajitas were tender and flavorful, and the enchilada had that perfect classic Tex-Mex comfort taste.
They also brought out complimentary chips and salsa to start. The salsa was especially good—super flavorful without being overly spicy.
Service was great as well—friendly, quick, and attentive without being overbearing.
Overall, excellent food and a really satisfying meal. I’ll definitely be back!

I had quessebirrias and my girls had alambre, a cheaper better alternative to fajitas. Both excellent this has been my favorite Mexican food for 8 years. I don’t even bother to try and make beans at home anymore cause the ones they make here can’t be beaten. Miguel was awesome as our server. Margarita peach with tajin on the rim was just what the Dr ordered. For fun, food, and a great atmosphere come to my favorite spot the best in texoma, I don’t care what that paper says, mariachis fine Mexican food is the best there is.
