Everything we ordered was delicious! Chips and salsa, cheese dip, our entrees, and the kid’s menu quesadilla with rice we all enjoyed. We’d come back for the food.
Our waiter was very nice, but a bit slow considering it wasn’t very busy. It took a long time to receive our boxes and checks, which normally I wouldn’t care but when you have a fussy toddler, you want to get out quick.

Had a pleasant visit to this Mexican restaurant. The Salsa that came with the complimentary chips had a great taste. Street tacos I tried were the chicken and pork, I favored the pork as it was tender and had a good flavor. The Mrs. tried the enchiladas and was happy with her selection. Service was prompt and attentive. This was a very good visit and would return.

It’s been a struggle for this Texas native to find good Mexican food in the St Louis area. However, this place is now on my list of places to revisit. Excellent service, amazing food and the pineapple jalapeño margarita was amazing!

Found my new favorite Mexican restaurant. Since I moved to the area, I’ve been trying the various Mexican food spots around here. While I found some good ones, none quite impressed me to the point of becoming my “go-to” favorite. However, after visiting Maria Bonita just once, I already know this is the one. Food is AMAZING and is seasoned perfectly — not overly salted like many of the other Mexican places I’ve tried around here. And it’s not just the entrees that are impressive, the chips and salsa were worth the visit alone. Service was good and it has a nice space/decor. Here’s hoping this place quickly becomes a new staple of St. Peters!

First time there today, my michelada and margarita were delicious. The chili Verde was also amazing. Their queso was absolutely phenomenal. Sebastian was our sever and he was by himself (monday day shift) and he was on top of everything. Will absolutely be going back!

Air conditioning was out- sat on the patio and it was beyond hot. Service was extremely slow. Margarita towers melted before we were even brought glasses. Waitress misheard a drink order and charged a single lemonade 3 times; she refused to make the bill correct. Ordered steak fajitas and it looked and tasted like an entire container of cumin was poured into the skillet. My daughter’s chicken fingers were so thin, crispy, black, and inedible that it caused her tooth to fall out (7 y/o). Staff argued over the bill causing our time there to surpass two hours. This was for a birthday party for 2 people, a total party of 9- no special services were offered. We bought close to $300 of food and drink. Absolutely horrible experience and will not return. Visit at your own risk.
