My friend and I were exploring in this area of the Florida West Coast. We wanted to eat by the water and this place didn’t disappoint. It’s got an old Florida vibe with a wide open view of the river. The staff was very friendly and served hot and fresh seafood. I had the grouper po’boy. I would have liked the fish to be a little more cooked for my taste but it was delicious. My friend really enjoyed the coconut shrimp. And the key lime pie was just what we wanted to top off the meal. If you are looking for some good food by the water or want to wind down after your day of outdoor adventures, Marguerita Grill is worth the visit!

What a great place . As retired LE it was such a pleasure to eat there. They support all the arm services and first responders like nothing I’ve ever seen before. They actually do a ceremony every night at random times and give all the customers American flags to sing along to , Proud to be an American. The service was amazing our waitress, Stephanie was a lot of fun to talk to. Food was good , great view . We will be back !!!! VERY PRO AMERICAN.

My wife and I had dinner here early in the evening on January 22, 2026 while on a 4 day camper trip visit to Homosassa. We discovered it while driving around in the late afternoon on the first day we arrived on January 19, and there was already almost a full parking lot (a good sign for any restaurant in terms of food, service and atmosphere). We decided to put it on our list of dining options since there are only a small handful of places to eat in the Homosassa Springs area. We arrived about 5:00 pm in the evening (on a Wednesday night) and the parking lot was full, but just as we pulled in, a car backed out of spot, so we got lucky and took it. When we walked in, the inside dining room was full (and we didn’t have a reservation) so we sat outside on the patio overlooking the headwaters of the Homosassa River. Our server Ashley was quick to show up to our table and took our drink order, then returned shortly after for our dinner orders. My wife had the Coconut Shrimp Dinner (24.00), and I ordered their specialty Marguerita Chicken (20.00), which was a tangy lime flavor. Both came out freshly prepared and piping hot and tasted pretty good. The prices were very reasonable and the service and food quality was very good, so we’d definitely recommend this place is you staying in Homosassa for a few nights. The inside atmosphere is very patriotic and it almost looks like a Veteran’s Memorial Shrine since the founder was a former Marine Vet who served in Vietnam. Recommend calling ahead for a reservation, particularly if you are visiting during peak season here.

We absolutely love it here!!! Never ever disappoints! We’ve come probably 10 times in the last year, every single staff member is kind, helpful, and friendly to talk with. The service is fast and easy. The food is PHENOMENAL. This last time we had Michelle who recommended the pork tacos and they did. not. disappoint. Bonus- she called us “baby” all night like we were family which always makes me smile. We’d recommend this place over and over. They’re veteran friendly with a lighthearted, fun atmosphere! Despite the parking lot always being decently full, we’ve never had to wait for a seat which is nice when toting around our young kids! We will absolutely be back…. repeatedly, lol.

Definetly a bit too “‘Merica” for me, but the food was delicious and our server was great. There wasn’t a bad bit to be had and to be honest, if you can’t sit through one meal, then that’s something you gotta work through.
The food is what got us there and what would bring us back. I got to write my name on the wall ad a former service member so that was cool for me.

The service was great, our waitress was very friendly.
I ordered Mahi Tacos, absolutly amazing with an incredivle honey salsa to put on top. I’m really glad I ordered that.
While we were there, the staff passed out American Flags, honored Veterans and active duty military. Told the whole crowd that if they didn’t like it they could leave, then thr entire restaurant started singing God Bless America. It was a surreal site.
On the way in the patrons leaving were praising tor staff and food quality. They were also going on and on about how patriotic Margeritas was. The folks leaving were 100% correct.
In the parking lot is 3 motorcycle parking spaces we took full advantage of.
The patio overlooks some docks and a river or creek where you could watch the boats go bye.
Overall it was a great experiabce.
When we are back in that area we will be eating there again

Margarita Grill in Homosassa, Florida is bringing the flavor. These loaded nachos did not disappoint — packed, fresh, and full of bold taste.
This is one of the spots we might be reviewing soon… but trust me, it’s worth checking out now.

Funny story, we were recommended to go to another resteraunt. At the other resteraunt, the table eating next to us said, they wished they had gone to Marguerita Grill. “Where they could get some decent food”. We hadn’t ordered yet, so we asked, where is that? They gave us directions and said we were just 12 minutes away.
So, obviously our first time here. We will be back. The fried pickles were very tart. Great flavor. The smoke fish dip, was some of the best we have had. And they gave us a huge portion. First time I have every taken home a left over appetizer. We had the stuffed. Great flavor, perfectly cooked. I would have liked the ratio of fish to stuffing be a little more fish. But the flavor was so good, I overcame the ratio. I’m glad I had the black beans and rice for my sides. The hollandaise sause was very rich. The Mojo pork was cooked perfectly. Very tender. It was missing the traditional citrus flavor and a bit salty. But like the fish, the flavor was so good, it did not matter. The philly chease steak was not traditional either. It had a better ratio of meat to cheese. We feel it is better than a traditiinal philly. The rib and fried shrimp combo was very good, if you like ribs that fall off the bone. We do. The shrimp was a little over done. But the fatter was flacky and seasoned perfectly. The one cock tail we had was a Tropical Rum Runner. It was so good. Not too sweat. Not to strong. Tasted the rum.
The service was a little slow. But I think you can gigure out by my review, that I am very particular. We sat by the water, so the atmosphere could not have been better. We had 4 meals, 2 appetizers, and 1 cocktail, and a military discount came to $129.11. We will be back. We will bring friends. Highly recommend.
