This was the first time I tried this location. I got the BBQ chicken with 3 sides(jambalaya, Mac and cheese and baked beans). When I got my plate I wondered why it was a little light. When I got home, I did have a leg quarter(2 pieces of chicken), a small scoop of the 3 sides. The chicken was still a little pink, the sides were cold and had no flavor at all. I’m no Chef Ramsey, but my food taste better. I might try the other location and see how it is.

Great food and people! Daily specials but work with you on off menu items. Generous servings of delicious tea and lemonade. If momma made Lima beans like them, maybe I wouldn’t have spent so many evenings alone at the table! So good. Get your foodie fix by supporting local.

This was my first time trying this place, I let the young lady know. She said “well let me give you one of my menus” IT was Wednesday so the special was “chicken, red beans and rice, collard greens, and yams. I asked her “ how many prices of chicken do you get, with the meal?”, she said “ 2, and it would take me 15 mins because we cook everything fresh.” Well, it took 15 mins. She handed me my food, it was double tied inside of 2 plastic black bags. So, I didn’t check the food before I left. I get home, and there’s 1 piece of chicken( the chicken was dry, and it looked old), and on one of the plates was a piece of fried fish( it was soft and soggy so to speak). I paid 33.00 for 3 plates of pure disappointment. What really got me, is she walked to my car to give me my food, smiled, and told me to have a good day. After knowing that she didn’t properly fix the plates, and she just false advertised and lied. I’ll never buy from this place again, o and there was a guy in a truck with 3 large containers of what appeared to be oil, and there wasn’t a lid, it was spilling as he walked toward the food truck, while he smoked his cigarette. Long story short, I threw the food away, and ended up preparing dinner. A waste of time, money, and energy.
