Deciding it was time for a return visit, we chose Margie’s based on high local ratings for wings.
The exterior shows its age, with wear on the entry door signaling years of heavy use. In contrast, the interior is instantly welcoming—cozy, comfortable, and exuding a genuine neighborhood feel. It offers both a separate bar area (great for catching sports) and a distinct dining room.
Service was fast and friendly. We ordered the wings hot and well done. They were crispy and large but were disappointingly dry and didn’t have much heat. Having Frank’s at the table, however, easily remedied this issue.
We look forward to going back to explore the rest of their menu. They feature an attractive, competitively priced list of specialty cocktails, including the much-praised Sugar Cookie Martini. We recommend checking them out!

10 out of 10. My husband had the 12oz burger that was cooked perfectly as he likes it still mooing. I got wings and I have to say as a wing snob that they were some of the best wings I have ever had. From the crispness, tenderness inside and perfect sauce ratio! Their blue cheese was amazing as well. Our waitress was knowledgeable and delivered impeccable service. Very cozy atmosphere and you could see that the staff really takes the time to get to know their patrons. We aren’t local but will definitely be going when we are in the area again! Thank you for an amazing meal!

Your cramp in here when you sit. Our waitress was running. They needs more help. The men’s bathroom opens up to the bar omg i can’t believe. The food didn’t meet my standards. Parking is hard. Prepare to walk.

First time customer here… fish was really good and so were the sides my only complaint was it was a lot of food packed into a small container with the sides just plopped onto the bottom of the container and the fish sitting on top of the sides so they were warm and smooshed. I’ll go back but I won’t do takeout again. Also parking lot is small and of course with Good Friday there was no parking so I had to park down the street and walk.

I ordered my food at 4:10 p.m. the girl who answered the phone told me it would be ready at 5:45 p.m. I got there at 5:45 p.m. while on my break from work. Everyone else’s food was coming out. It was 6:20 p.m. and I still do not have my food. I told them I had to go back to work and I wanted my money back. The girl doing the takeout orders was extremely rude and told someone by the name of Josh to give me my money back. I don’t think he knew how to give me my money back. I looked later at my bank account and I got charged twice. I wanted a receipt and I didn’t get one of those either. So I left with no food, getting charged twice, and an extremely rude woman working there. If I could give them zero I would.

We drove in from CT and needed a late night snack and a few drinks. We definitely picked the right spot. The bar was super warm and welcoming, Dan was one of the best bartenders I’ve encountered. He has a great way of keeping the entire bar included in the fun. We got the stuffed pepper quesadillas and mango habanero wings 10/10. If this was closer to home I’d be a regular for sure.

It is fantastic the absolute best fish fry I have ever had no exaggeration not kidding even a little bit. The staff was so friendly, helpful and amazing .

We are from orlando Florida and we came to Buffalo for a getaway. We went to this restaurant and my kid devoured down a pizza burger. If you are coming to new york. Make sure to visit Margies. And our waiter Mary was really nice and super kind. Definitely it’s a good place to eat at.
