Chris was our server. He was AWESOME. There was an unexpected influx of patrons and the whole establishment did the BEST that they could. If someone is upset with the service they got today they suck as humans! Because these guys were busting their behinds!! Jumping from table to table, bring out food, cleaning tables, all with a smile!

We were seated quickly and order was taken in a timely way, but we waited long than expected for chicken wings, spinach and artichoke dip, and a turkey club. The sandwich was decent and the dip was okay (my wife hated the chips), but the wings were pretty bad. There were only 9 for $18, and one of them was probably taken from the scrawny local wild fowl. I didn’t even eat it. They were a bit overdone and dry. $16 for the chips and dip was a bit pricey too. No need to add a tip as they automatically add 18 percent.

It was deceiving. There is no courtesy shuttle to another beach, it’s $48 one way for 2 people plus tip. No TV signal in room, smells like a nasty fish tank, seaweed is very thick, no beach access and a huge ditch that’s emitting hazardous fumes. The restaurant staff is rude and food not served as on menu and servers don’t care. Mike at concierge was welcoming and the only thing going for this place. The pool was the only thing open and wasn’t inviting. Will not ever come back here. Pictures on listing and details weren’t accurate. Waste of time and money to have to leave for a beach.

The smell of seaweed was prevalent at the main pool.. the upper pool was amazing, with great views.. you had to take Go-Karts to your room, which was tricky. Or you have to walk up a (mountain) of stairs. The views were great the price was good.

They do not enforce their no smoking rules I cannot sit out on my balcony without having cigarette smoke blowing in my face. So much for advertised no smoking facility. Also our room was 3 hours late getting ready. Long flight wanted to crash and couldn’t. Do not invest in their timeshare point club. They lie about that also. Stay far away. During your stay your room won’t be cleaned or you dirty sheets changed.

Returning customers. Another place on the island with the best tacos around! The pineapple mango salsa and sauce topping the tacos cannot be beat! The island rice is the best we’ve had on the island too! Beautiful views and good eats. Highly recommend

First, let me say that we did not feel welcomed for our honeymoon. Nothing special. No upgrade. The front desk supervisor was unfriendly. I asked to see a unit. He said that’s not possible. I asked if a room by the pool would be noisy. He said no. The racketing music every day from noon to 10 pm was unbearable. The beach is not usable. Full of seaweed! We had to walk to Coki Beach to use a beach. When we got to our room the fridge was off. Had to wait for hours for this thing to cool off so we can store our food. Nothing on the menu at the restaurant for us vegetarians.
The little beach by the pool is full of trash (plastic cups, garbage).
Rather disappointing. Most places treat honeymooners extra special. I guess that this place is not honeymoon friendly.
This is my second time in a Margaritaville (first experience in Hollywood Florida was fantastic).
We travel around the world.

After staying here 2 weeks I got a really good feel for Margaritaville. Waiting for a server to show up for 45 minutes every morning at breakfast was a given. Sullen service was also a given. I completely understand island time, but there is a difference between someone who clearly hates me and hates their job and just waiting 15-20 minutes for someone to circle back.
There were two bright spots and they were named Mark and Cameron our two favorite bartenders who were peppy and positive and a really fun time.
We’re known to be heavy tippers… We would normally tip on top of the 18% that they automatically include in every bill. But the service was so abysmal There were a few times we couldn’t bring ourselves to do it..
I’ve heard that other margaritaville locations are better but not this one!

Loved the room, location pools and club events. Service was mostly outstanding, though know that they are on island time. Had no problems with getting golf carts to take us around the resort or cabs for getting around the island. Know that the Hillside rooms are indeed on a steep hillside. Loved happy hour and free Margarita at 5:00. Loved that Coki beach is walkable. Hillside pool is not to be missed for the swimup bar.
