Definitely had some Margarita on the Rocks here. The margaritas were delicious. Unsure if they were just a bit more busy than normal for a weekday afternoon, but we didn’t get greeted for tableside service. Some tables were greeted, some weren’t during the last afternoon Ordered from the bar and paid $26 for 2 margaritas and a Corona… I guess that’s Put-in-Bay pricing. Overall 4-star service.

Can’t leave the island on Sunday without stopping here for a margarita. We got this special mango jalapeño marg today and it was DELISH. Staff are so friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere is perfect. Can’t say enough good things about this place. A must visit!!

We ordered quite a few drinks and food between us but mostly just went for the mid day lunch.
Food was alright, but nothing to brag over. Decent portions but pricey for the quality, as the taste wasn’t overwhelming in any one direction or another. Just basic tenders and average fries.
Atmosphere looked appealing but there just wasn’t a lot going on.
I’d possibly swing by in the future for a drink or two on my way around the strip but realistically there is just simply much better options all around.

Margaritas on the Rock is hands down one of the best places to relax and unwind on the island! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was fun, laid-back, and full of energy — exactly what you want from a lakeside spot in Put-in-Bay.
The location is absolutely amazing, right downtown near the lake. The margaritas are incredible. Fresh, flavorful, and dangerously smooth! I tried the classic and the mango, and both were perfectly balanced. They’re generous with the pour too, which is always a win. The staff was friendly, quick with service, and really added to the overall good vibe of the place.
As for the food, it totally exceeded my expectations. The tacos were loaded with flavor and fresh ingredients, and the chips and salsa were the perfect starter — crisp and zesty with just the right kick.
Whether you’re stopping in for a quick drink or planning to settle in for a few hours of fun, Margaritas on the Rock delivers. Great drinks, tasty food, awesome music, and a location that just screams summer vacation. Can’t wait to come back!

The margaritas were okay but the bartenders seemed like they didn’t care if we were there or not. It was someone’s birthday and the group was very loud, as was the music. I enjoy a good time but these people were so over the top everyone else left because the bartenders didn’t ask them to quiet down a bit.

We are here on vacation and came here because I read that the tacos were good. We arrived here at 6:30pm and was told the kitchen was closed due to the weather. The storm was done and it was not raining. This was very disappointing. There was also a couple sitting adjacent from us at the bar smoking and this shouldn’t be permitted due to Ohio being smoke free. Even though it was outside, it was still blowing right in our faces. Sadly we won’t be back.

Visited PIB with my husband, we love margaritas and decided to try out this place. Very lovely experience here, the bartenders were super welcoming and greeted my husband and I as soon as we walked in. Drinks were absolutely delicious and wonderfully made. We came back later for dinner and left very satisfied, the service was great and the food came out quick and was very filling. Both servers and bartenders were very attentive and friendly.
I highly recommend the scorpion margarita with their spicy rim as well as the birria tacos!
