Food was ok but very bland. Waitress was great very friendly. If you’re a 2A supporter they do not support our rights so in that aspect I won’t be back. Asked four people (staff) about the sign. They all said NO even with a CCW even though IOWA is a constitutional carry state. If they “forgot” to remove sign from the previous owners is to be seen. I will check in 2 weeks to see if it’s still there. If gone then yes they get a second try for my business.

Hands down the best queso in town! Everything we ordered was twice as good as any other mexican restaurant I have ever been to!

We’ve visited here twice the last 2 weeks. Food and service were great! The chips and salsa were fresh and very tasty. Margaritas were good with many options to choose from. I’ve ordered the Mini Tacos and Pollo Jalisco. Both meals were very good! We also like ordering the Bean Dip which is also very good, but the cheese was a bit runny on our last visit even after it was cooled down a bit.

Food was very good. It was my first time there and I ordered the closest thing to my usual at my usual spot, and it was so much better at this restaurant. My friend did the same and agreed. This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant in Mason City. Service was good too, everything was good.

The food is great, the drinks are great. Only thing was, I tried to tell the host something and he didn’t understand me. Otherwise the service is great. I don’t really care too much for their salsa, but that’s just me. I will keep going back anyways.

Fajita’s were good, rice and beans had actual flavor! Margaritas were good. Waiter was great. Salsa could use a bit more flavor, Will be stopping in next time I am in town!

Staff was friendly but the bottled beer was warm, margaritas had Sierra Mist in them, and the quesadilla was served in a puddle of chicken juice from the shredded chicken that was plopped in the middle of a barely warmed tortilla. The salsa tasted like marinara sauce. The shrimp chimichanga was pretty good, but everything else was so bland that even my 10 month old ate it.

We called for a to go order picked it up And got home to realize it wasn’t correct! I called to explain the situation and the manager got on top of it immediately! Asked me to come back in to get the right food and told me he had something else for me when I showed up my food was hot ready and he apologized several times! There was more that I won’t go into detail about due to fear of people taking advantage of the situation but I will say that if there is any issues with the service here they will make it up to you!

For my 77th Bday I asked my GF to “gift” me with lunch from my fav Mexican restaurant. Manager was co-owner of my previously closed fav Mexican restaurant Vallartas. Efrain Robles. His friends call him Pollo which means chicken. Ask him he’ll explain. He has 2 of our fav dishes from Vallartas. Mocajete n Shrimp (prawn) cocktail. 10 giant “shrimps” in a to-die- for sauce. My friend takes the sauce home n makes a terrific Bloddy Mary. I eat the other half of my Mocajete for 2- 3 more meals. Other friends tell me other menu items r very good. Enjoy!

Rice is a little over cooked but pretty good maybe a little bland. Chips and salsa are really good! At least the chips are not stored in a bucket like at Plaza Mexico. Shredded chicken is super good!! Service is amazing. The waiter checked on us very frequently. Just a little dark but everything else is 5 stars!
