I recently purchased a to go order from here. I ordered rice, dip, salsa and two small bags of chips. I was charged I left and noticed I was missing a small bag of chips. The chips are $1.25 they charged me $2.50 which was correct only I didn’t receive a bag. I went back in and was told needed to pay .50 more because take out order are more. I proceeded to state the prices what I ordered and just wanted my other bag of chips. The gentleman was yelling at me telling me to not come back if I wasn’t happy. I yelled back you are over charging me. I laid my .50 on the counter got my other bag of chips and left. What terrible customer service. It wasn’t about the .50 but about how I was treated. I was mad and did argue but how do you just change prices on someone? El Campesino’s gives you free order of chips with purchase even if you’re just ordering rice and dips. Very disappointed in this establishment. No wonder you don’t get a print out receipt with a list of charges.

Food was bad. Service was some of the worst I have ever seen. Usually a Mexican restaurant has top notch service. Not this one. Waited 20 minutes for our drinks. A water and diet soda. Then another 20 minutes to even put our food order in. Then 20 minutes for our food. Place wasn’t even busy.

This is a great Mexican restaurant! Really exceptional. The food is excellent and the servers are friendly and attentive. If you like grilled shrimp, try the “lake shrimp” it is superb. Also, the queso with chorizo is excellent. The frozen Margarita is top notch as well. We have tried several different dishes from the menu and never been disappointed. Highly recommend!

The first time we went there the people were so rude. We thought maybe it was an off day. Went back a second time and it was after 11 which they open at 11:00. Chairs were still up on tables and I asked if they were open and the guy said they open at 11 which it was past that and the door was open that we went in and apparently that wasn’t the right door because he said the entrance was down further. Apparently he wanted us to exit and go back in the right door which was maybe 12 ft away. We were already in He was very rude. We left and we will never go back! I rate this place a 0!

Absolutely one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. The staff was super slow, and unprofessional to say the least. My family, and I waited over 30 minutes for our drinks. We were asked multiple times by our server what we wanted to drink. He must have been drunk because they were all incorrect. It wasn’t the lack of English, it was just piss poor service. Do not recommend.
