My mother-in-law just arrived and we were taking a different route home and we came across Margarita’s. We stopped in for appetizers and margarita’s. The inside was small but clean and the service was outstanding. It was a nice day so the patio was busy. Everything was fantastic. We can’t wait to come back and try their food.

Tasty Mexican food, service on the huge patio allowed us to have our Poodle. Indoor dining is more refined. I loved the murals and large windows to the outside. Portions were generous. Flies on the large patio were a problem. They need screens and some type of fly catcher. Service was fast and friendly. Bathrooms were fairly clean. Plenty of free parking.

A Taste of Home in the Lowcountry!
We just moved to Summerville from Texas and have been seriously missing authentic Mexican food—until we found Margaritas Mexican Restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the warm atmosphere and incredible aromas brought back all the flavors we’ve been craving.
The food? Truly authentic and absolutely delicious. Every bite reminded us of our favorite spots back home. While the prices are a tad on the higher side, the quality, portion sizes, and overall experience make it 100% worth it.
We can already tell this will become one of our go-to spots when we’re needing a little comfort food and familiarity. So glad to have found a place that feels like home here in South Carolina. ️
Highly recommend!

Food was excellent and very tasty. Service was good not great. Waitress didn’t speak much English which ended up with my wife’s food being wrong. Waitress was very polite and did check on us very often. Biggest thing for me was the cleanliness. It wasn’t awful, but it did leave something to be desired.
Huge menu with tons of options. Up in the air if we’ll be back. If we are it’ll be for the tasty food.

This is our go to Mexican Food spot. We have many others between here and our home but none are quite like Margaritas. The staff is always on point and greet us with smiling faces. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. Very rarely will you have to wait very long for a table. Same goes for your food too. I always enjoy admiring the murals on the walls. Whomever the artist is quite talented. If you haven’t seen before, take a look. The restaurant is always very clean. Truthfully. We have never had any issue whatsoever. I believe wholeheartedly, even if we did they would do their best to fix it right away. Great food and atmosphere.

Pretty solid Mexican food, just expensive. Not phenomenal, just pretty solid. The amount of options on the menu was great! Very expansive, and has something for everyone. I recently moved to the area and was looking for a good Mexican spot, and I think this did the job, minus the higher prices for some reason. I recommend the Birria tacos, but next time I would definitely order something else due to the amount of food items to choose from. The chips and Salsa were probably the best part of the meal! The salsa was more liquified, which I prefer. The queso dip was also great, but it was kinda liquified as well, when I like the thicker queso generally. Also, at a $7 price point it is WAY too expensive for just a small queso dip. The service was alright, and the atmosphere was pretty generic. Although, they do have a pretty cool outdoor seating area when the weather is nice. I’d recommend the spot for sure if you just want some good Mexican food. Just be aware of the higher price point. My entree was $17 alone, and this is not a fancy joint by any means. I’ll be back at some point to eat, when I’m willing to spend a few extra bucks.

The parking lot was full but one spot, but we still got a table right when we went in. The servers were nice, and the burritos the size of a small child. Never thought I would like pineapple in a burrito but they know how to cook right! Highly recommend the Gordo Burrito, but will warn, for 2 people it was $50 before tip!

We arrived here for lunch and I typically opt for the Speedy Gonzales, but this time I had the most phenomenal Steak Fajitas I’ve ever savored. The steak was incredibly juicy and tender, with a perfect blend of lime juice, garlic, and cumin, accompanied by cooked onions and peppers. It was served with soft, warm flour tortillas. We also enjoyed yellow Mexican rice and refried beans, along with a small side salad. This was truly a culinary masterpiece. Margarita’s consistently delivers an exceptional lunch experience every single time.

This was the absolute worst Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been in! Margaritas came out bright green. All mix. Disgusting drinks. Food arrived after sitting for minutes, even more disgusting. Sits under heat lamps. Waitress could care less that you left full drinks and plates. AVOID at all costs !

Overall this is a great mexican restaurant within Summerville. Great service throughout our whole experience start to finish plus a little extra special service from our server which was quite surprising. We had the birria pizza and steak and cheese burritos, both tasted great and we will be back. The large house margerita was nice and the large size was more then enough.
