I cannot lie—the food was pretty good. That was until I got halfway through my meal and found HAIR in my food. I was in a party of seven, and everyone else had an okay experience. However, I personally did not have a good experience.
In my opinion, the piña colada frozen margarita was too strong for me. (I’ll take the blame for ordering it—it was mixed with tequila, and I prefer vodka.) Anyways, they remade my food to-go; however, I kept thinking about the HAIR and ultimately decided I wanted my money back.
It wasn’t just the fact that there was a problem—it was the fact that they were very dismissive about my complaints. I asked for the drink to be remade, but that didn’t happen, and I felt like they would do anything to avoid issuing a REFUND. Then, they had the nerve to automatically add gratuity to the price. It’s 15% before 8 PM and 18% for a party of six or more after 8 PM.
Personally, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I feel that it isn’t worth the money. Go elsewhere. I believe the behavior of the staff is the real problem, and I believe the previous negative reviews were accurate.
P.S. Notice the price difference in the receipts, and the friendly note they left me at the bottom.

Food was good, the waiter lacked personality. We asked for a baby high chair and the hostess told us to ask the waiter instead of getting one for us so we had to wait to put a baby in a high chair then when we asked the waiter he never got us one so we had to find it ourselves. Beer was warm. They add a 18% tip authenticity to the bill even if they give bad service. I always tip for good service and food but I don’t like a place force tipping. I’ll never return.

Went in for a drink with a friend while we were in town. When we we leaving I had a $20 cash in hand to give the waiter as he did his job very well. And we were only there a short time (20-30 minutes) when checking out the guy taking our debit cards felt the need to give himself a tip off both of our cards without asking or telling us. When asked about it when asking for the receipt he just laughed and said “its okay you leave extra tip”. We will not be back.

We’re visiting from Mobile and stumbled on this place while walking around. The .99 tacos drew us in but the service is what made me write this review. The service was absolutely wonderful. Quick. Attentive. Good food. Great prices. Would definitely recommend.

Taco Tuesday. .99 Cent taco special was great. Salsa was delicious. Guacamole was fresh. Music was so loud I had no choice but to dance to it and do my Happy Dance. You get so much food for your money. Great customer service smiles from the staff. Drinks were nice. I had the apple Martini and he the Long Island.

The waiter didn’t speak any English. Spanish also seemed to be a problem. We never got our actual food order. The food that did come didn’t look appealing. The bathroom was deplorable. Staff didn’t seem helpful at all. Would not recommend.

I had to go order, it was a little on the cold side. It was nice that they got it ready fast, but I just walked across the street from the Peabody. So it’s not like I had a long way to go. But, I didn’t wanna go back and get it reheated. Steak is tasty. Had a little bit chewy times. Everything else is pretty generic. I think the biggest thing I would’ve liked to if the meal was hot maybe I should’ve eaten in the restaurant. They only provided two small tortillas, had lots of steak and leftover rice and beans, but there was significant amount of chips to help clean that up with. Overall 3 1/2 stars. Definitely looks great but I asked for very hot sauce and it was more like jar sauce from the grocery store for salsa. Nothing fresh tasting which surprised me. Probably won’t go again, but I will say it did fill me up for dinner.

So this is my second visit. I said I would not be back, but here I am. There are big notices as you walk in, 15% added to all checks, no exceptions. Read menu carefully, etc. Both warning signs that things hadn’t changed. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The server was very attentive, even come back to verify my order before he submitted it. Chips are very light & crispy, salsa has an excellent flavor with just a tiny bit of heat, nothing major though. Food like last time, was very good (only reason I gave a second chance). Only complaint is the music was very loud. Too loud for a lunch setting in my opinion.
Shockingly, I believe I’ll go back again.
