My husband and I recently dined at Margarita’s Cocina Y Cantina for the first time on a Friday evening. Overall, our experience was delightful, and we left the restaurant satisfied with our meal.

Excellent dishes they offer on their menu. Very reasonable prices for the generous size servings. This place is off in the corner but worth the stop. The food is so delicious I will definitely be bringing all my here to experience this restaurant. I had the chimichanga burrito (carne asada) and chopped it up to see inside this amazing burrito.

My spouse and I have enjoyed dining here for awhile now. The food is not great but good; atmosphere is good; location is great; customer service has always been great – since I’ve dined there; so I give this restaurant an overall 3 and 1/2 stars! Today, we dined there again and must admit that management has been slacking a bit – it was stuffy inside and uncomfortable to dine in. I did ask if they could turn the A/C down and cool down a bit more, which they did. However, it sid not cool down to a level that accommodated dining out…thus recommend management assess and better regulate internal atmosphere of restaurant so that customers don’t sweat while attempting to enjoy a nice meal.

Margarita’s Cocina y Cantina has a party atmosphere for Saturday night with friends. This is not a place for a first date or small talk. The noise level was party loud level and the wait time was 30 minutes. That is a really long time to wait for a Saturday night in a great vacation type town. The food, drinks, atmosphere and staff were an amazing experience. We had the street tacos with Shrimp and Pollo. The Margarita flight you see in the photo is a must on Saturday night with friends as well. Make sure everyone in your party receives their own flight so you can drink them together. The Guacamole was so-so. However, with the Margarita flight, the Guacamole was delicious, of course. Have fun if you go! We did!

What an excellent restaurant! The decor was very open and airy. Every staff person was very attentive and friendly. The salsa was delicious and flavorful (I like it in small pieces). The Vampiro Flight chicken was so unique in its flavor and taste. 2 Enchiladas chicken with Red sauce was very satisfying. The Chile Relleno chicken with green sauce was delicious. They all were so much better than anything I have found in south orange county. The chef really knows her craft in bringing out and mixing flavors that’s a treat to enjoy.

The food was really good. The ambiance was great. The only reason I didn’t give it five star rating was it seemed to take a bit to get refills on our drinks and to get our bill and have it processed. The restaurant wasn’t packed seemed maybe short staffed.

Best Mexican food I have found in a while! Margarita’s was recommended to us by a friend. I feel it’s still a hidden gem [which is nice for fewer crowds]. All of our dishes were fabulous. I also indulged in their smoked pineapple margarita…… So Dang Good!

We ordered a Michilada, and it was too spicy, so we sent it back. They added more beer, but it was still too spicy, so we didn’t drunk it. They didn’t want to take it off the bill because they said we took a couple of sips to taste it. We won’t be going back. This place is too out if the way & the service sucks.

Temecula has been long overdue for a good Mexican restaurant. Thank goodness for Margarita’s. My first time here I was pleasantly impressed with the atmosphere, the service and the food. My wife and I split the whole fish (tilapia) which was delicious! And the Cadillac margaritas were top notch. I look forward to returning and exploring more of the menu.
