The server was friendly, but I never got water and even when asked “is there anything else I can get you” I said water please and never got it…also, I would have appreciated if she let me know all they had was one’s for cash because I would of used my card otherwise. Tasty food with good size on the larger side of portions. Enough chips to feed an army though, I wonder how many of them are thrown out (a lot of waste) – especially when as a single person I have the same sized basket that a group of 4 has I had the local Bent Paddle cream ale, which was delicious, and the Shrimp Lindo (also delicious). It just was a bit of a kick for a mild dish, not sure if it’s the seasoning or the cheese sauce, but even though I love Mexican food, I’m not the best with heat. The flavor though was what I loved. It also could have used more rice, the ratio of veggies/meat to rice was a bit off. And the peppers could be cut into bite sized please! Overall, a very good price for the quantity and quality, I would recommend it as a place to go in this area that isn’t fast food!

Margaritas has been accommodating our large group gathering fir the last couple years- ever since it opened! We meet with 6- 12 retired school staff here for a monthly social. They provide us with a huge table and quiet room and wonderful food! I love Mexican food. My favorite is the California Burrito- not too spicy. Delicious flavors.

Go to Azteca’s Mexican Grill, or Lindos, ordered a burrito, was small, they said they where out of rice, offered “fries” instead. Offered to put the fries on the burrito? Then brought out cold rice on a plate half way through. Service wasn’t very good, was out of water and server came out and looked at me and said “you good?” Waste of money.

I come in here often since it opened. The margaritas are excellent and the staff is so friendly! I’ve been trying to get new things to eat every time I come in. Last night I had the Pollo Encremado and man was it tasty!

Was looking for a good place for shredded beef (not ground) enchiladas in Duluth, after like Angie’s discontinued their own shredded beef meat option. Was very happy to find Margaritas as a replacement. The portions are generous and the enchiladas were fresh and hot, and the red mole sauce on top is delicious. As of now it’s the best beef enchilada in town and I look forward to trying other menu items.

We are visiting the area and wanted a new and good Mexican place to try. We shouldn’t have gone to Margaritas. When we got there we could tell that the place needed to be refreshed, but no big deal. We sat and it took more than 10 min to meet our server. He was a nice guy, but really did not care about being there. The adults had margaritas and we had to order an extra shot of tequila to make them flavorful. The tequila shot was the same price as the margarita itself, so we spent $20 a drink. Food came out quickly, but it wasn’t all there, so one of us sat there and waited for the rest for 20 minutes. There were a lot of problems (out of tamales, had to make more guacamole, which is what took so long, server kept forgetting things, and more). We waited another 20 minutes after we were done eating to order desert while watching our server talk to friends at a booth close to us. The food was very bland and cold.
Overall, we wanted to tip well, but didn’t have a good experience so we didn’t.

It was an excellent experience and meal. We had the steak fajitas for two- delicious. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. We’ll definitely be back.

Have you ever seen a Mexican restaurant without a single Latino working there? We had not either until we went here. The food reflected the staff! The Margaritas weren’t even good! Seriously, don’t waste your money going here. Try McDonald’s the food’s better!
