Margaritaville has a nice atmosphere and a wide variety of dishes on the menu, which initially made me excited to try it. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in a few key areas. The food itself was not great, lacking the flavor and quality I expected. On top of that, the customer service was not good — which made the visit less enjoyable overall.
With a few improvements in food quality and service, this place has potential, but based on my recent visit, it just didn’t live up to the expectations.
Chicken street tacos are the best! Authentic homemade corn tortillas.

Meal type: …
Our appetizer was coconut shrimp and it came out raw and we had to send it back.
We then got our meals served before our drink orders came in which was weird because the meals came out in 5 minutes or less. So it felt like the food was pre cooked and prepped.
We had to get our silverware and napkins ourselves. Then finally got served our drinks.
It was just all around a let down… music was good though! And people watching was cool.
I am updating my comment because after we emailed the manager he was great about our issue and refunded the whole meal. Really appreciated that.
Upon arriving at 5 PM, I entered from the patio side and found no clear area to wait for seating. Employees ignored me as I stood there for several minutes, forcing me to flag someone down for assistance. I was told to “sit anywhere,” but the only available table was dirty, littered with empty bottles and dishes from the previous customers. Despite sitting at this filthy table, employees repeatedly walked by without acknowledging me, seemingly avoiding eye contact. It took multiple attempts to get someone to clear the table, and even then, it was never wiped down.
The service issues continued throughout the meal. I had to request a menu, utensils, napkins, and even chips and salsa—items that are typically provided without asking. When I ordered a beer and asked for a glass, I was told they only serve bottles and was not offered an empty glass to pour it into. The lack of basic hospitality was frustrating and made the experience feel unwelcoming.
The food was equally underwhelming. I ordered the Villa burrito, which came with a salad on the same plate. The salad was soaked in burrito sauce, making it unappetizing. The burrito itself was mediocre at best, lacking the flavor and quality I expected from a Mexican-inspired restaurant. To make matters worse, they were out of Caesar dressing, which felt surprising for a restaurant of this type.
The final straw was the excruciatingly slow process to receive my bill. Once again, I had to flag down an employee to request it, adding to the overall sense of neglect.
In summary, Margarita Villa failed on nearly every level. The lack of customer service, unclean dining environment, and subpar food made for a highly unpleasant experience. Ignoring customers and failing to address basic needs is unacceptable for any restaurant, let alone one in such a prime location. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this establishment based on my visit.
I had ordered 2 burritos and they were ok but not great. I made a specific note not to bother to add a salad but they still filled it with salad and dressing. On the tortas and the villa burger, the kids said they were edible and the fries were good. I ordered the coconut fried shrimp with orange sauce which was amazing and would order those again. However was I was so excited for and the whole reason we even chose to get their food was for the nachos. As you can see from the picture it looks like someone scraped off a plate of dirty chips and put them in a container. They had no topping, not really and the chips were cold and soggy. Soooo disappointed doesn’t even cover it.
