Margarita’s Kitchen is a great spot in the South Carrollton / Uptown area.
The food was delicious—everything tasted fresh and well made. The chips are some of the best: fresh, crispy, and absolutely addictive. The arrachera was excellent, full of flavor and cooked perfectly.
The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, especially the outdoor seating along South Carrollton. It’s a really nice place to sit outside, enjoy the view, and take your time with good food and drinks.
Highly recommend if you’re in Uptown and looking for great Mexican food in a chill, friendly setting.

Opening night at Margarita’s blew us away! Everything was fantastic. Recommend the pina colada, pineapple aqua Fresca, tacos (carne asada, birria, al pastor, carnitas), chicken quesadilla… service was excellent and we are excited to return to try more on the menu!

Luis , the chef, awesome guy, friendly and remembers his customers from the day he meets them,, which made me feel like family when I went back ( the next day ) the birria tacos were perfect !!! That choice of meat is my new favorite !!! And the sauce to put on them added the Perfect finish !!

Yummy breakfast and birria tacos. Salsa was also surprisingly delicious and with a kick. The owner, her son (our waiter), and the chef were all so kind and even gave our dog a treat on the way out. We will be back for the good food and kind service.
