I door dashed this particular order due to the cold. I kept it simple, street corn, and a mexican salad. Now, I do believe if you have to grade someone for messing up a mexican salad you have no business owning a mexican establishment.
Though that does bring me to my next point “Street Corn” for $10…yeah save yourself the time. Your getting a luke warm milky cup of cheap corn sprinkled with entirely way too much cojito cheese and a sprinkle of paprika.
And just to add for some clarity on the menu, it has a “add item”. I added tortillas what I thought was 6, I got 6 packs. not that it was expensive but i basically threw 3 dollars in the trash over menu wording. I cant give this a 5 star over a meat, bean, and cold set on top all the while you fall on your preverbial sword selling a veryy simplistic appetizer. My tip to the chef: mayo, sour cream, limes, cilantro, smoked paprika then the cojito and finally please save face and GRILLED CORN!
The shelf life of todays cultural restaraunts is very short. One would think making an effort to stand out even if its something so small.

So so amazing. First time dining in here, and the place was so cute: a kings throne up front and lightly decorated for Halloween. The plate appearance was surprisingly beautiful and very well presented and honestly every meal looked so good on the menu, our waitress was very patient with us as we struggled to decide, embarrassingly enough. She also visited the table occasionally to make sure we weren’t in need of anything throughout our meal. Very great Mexican cuisine spot

We just had probably the best service ever at a restaurant! Our server was so friendly, knew everything about the menu and bar menu, knew exactly how to offer options for different sauces and how to up sell drinks and dishes without seeming pushy. She was just amazing! The food was hot, fresh, tasted awesome, and came out fast. Drinks were holiday themed and amazing. The restaurant was very clean and pleasantly decorated for the valentines holiday. The restrooms were very clean and had ample supplies. We highly recommend trying them out!

Dined here recently while visiting for a sports tournament. we had a great time. The young gentleman that took care of us was very quick and so kind to us. I had a blueberry margarita and it was delicious, so were the chimichangas. Definitely recommended this place. If im ever in the area again will absolutely be back.

I have dined at several locations owned by this restaurant group, and my experiences at the other locations have consistently been positive. For that reason, I do not believe ownership is the issue here. However, the management at this specific location is clearly failing to uphold even basic standards.
During my most recent visit, one of the servers presented in a way that was extremely concerning and frankly unacceptable for a food-service environment. The server had a strong body odor, visibly unkempt clothing, was repeatedly scratching his head, and was coughing throughout service. This created a very uncomfortable experience and raised serious concerns about cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.
In addition, the time before this visit , I overheard another server, Shannon, speaking with a very unprofessional and negative attitude about other people while on the floor. Regardless of who the comments were about, that type of behavior in front of guests reflects poorly on the restaurant and contributes to an overall atmosphere that feels unmanaged and unprofessional.
These are not minor or subjective complaints. Servers are the face of a restaurant, and basic personal hygiene and professional conduct are non-negotiable requirements in this industry. The fact that employees were allowed to work the floor in these conditions suggests a lack of oversight, accountability, and willingness by on-site management to address issues when standards are not being met.
Again, I have eaten at other locations under the same ownership and have never encountered anything like this, which is why this feels like a management failure at this particular restaurant rather than a company-wide issue. I would strongly encourage ownership to take a closer look at the leadership and management practices at this location, as the current situation reflects poorly on an otherwise solid restaurant group.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously, because this location has the potential to match the quality of the others—but only if management is willing and able to enforce basic professionalism, cleanliness, and staff conduct. Especially with Chipotle moving in Down the road and another Mexican restaurant in Geneva this place won’t last much longer.

I was in town and had this twice as it was so dang delicious! Ok things I wasn’t impressed with: bean burrito, any of the enchiladas, salsa. Now for the tastiest of them all…chimis were outrageously good, churros were absolutely delightful and loooovvvved the caramel sauce, refreshing strawberry fresca, and now for the star….Tacos! I had hard and soft chicken and beef tacos… the grilled chicken hard taco was the best taco ever, didn’t even need sauce…I could eat these all day long

Went here while on a weekend trip with the family. We all lived our food. I got the quesa birra which was just fantastic. It wasn’t crowded as we went at lunch time. Our server was friendly and we really enjoyed her. I didn’t catch her name but she had blue and pink hair. Overall, would definitely come back if we visit another weekend.

Newer Mexican restaurant in Geneva as of Summer 2022. Very fresh ingredients and the best margarita sampler I’ve ever had! They really take pride in their food. I get the big Molcajete everywhere I go (Don tequilas, Los Compadres and even Pueblo Reale) and this place does it best!! Many other Mexican places seem to have dried out meats and old rice, but this place is Fresh and tender meat and soft rice. The 3 margarita sampler is so good!! Highly recommend.
